Puerto Plata International Airport

Nice airport for those living in Puerto Plata and nearby.
They airport is small but has everything you need.
It’s clean and have a nice staff.
The have flight to Europe , United States and Canada.
You can get a good fair if look well in internet.
I like this airport because is not very crowded.

Small airport, but nice people and very helpful.
Good restaurant and good food. They also have people singing to give you a warm welcome. The entire airport was mad clean.
I truly recommend people to travel from here.

Cool Airport! Was a lot of people there but was easy sailing for us!

We landed safely, best part. POP is a clean and efficient facility.English not a problem, plenty of cabbies to greet you approx 30 US gets you to anywhere in 30 mile radius.

Small airport. Dated building but clean.. staff is friendly, security is all business.

Chairs in waiting area are bench style, two chairs,a table one chair,so hard for groups of 4 to sit together... . Few places to eat, we saw pizza... plenty of expensive places to buy pop from, $4.00 USD for a small bottle ... Btw.... Country Club pop is a Coke product .. ( FANTA) even says it on bottle. made with sugar cane .. so good.. 👍

Really easy to find your gate, like a small mall in size.
Clean bathrooms clearly marked.. and last minute souvenirs. Smokes and mamajuna ( local liquor made with 20% rum, 80% red wine, 5% honey and these bottled sticks...). Do not bring back the sticks unless in a bottle.. they will not make it through customs.

I just went through this airport as an arriving passenger for the first time. I don't speak Spanish.

There were 3 times (right after immigration, Right after getting my bag off the carousel, and right after customs) and some random dude grabbed my bag to help me move it 10 feet, and then demanded a tip. I just said no, grabbed my bag and kept walking. They left me alone.

It was simple/easy! Small airport. One runway.

Immigration was super fast, it was empty when we arrived, so was customs. It all took maybe 5 minutes, except for waiting for the bags.

Cute little airport.. we breezed thru security no problem...

Best airport to fly into if your going to Puerto Plata. 20 minutes to Sosua. 30 minutes to caberete. Good bar/restaurant upstairs.

Small but nice airport. It is clean with all you need for waiting for your plain back home. Some area for small kids would benefit. All restaurants have prices on us dollars and accepts credit cards.

Clean airport. Customs/security was quick and trouble free. Lounge was nice too if you have access to it.

Small. Gives you Island vibes!!
There is a place to eat by check In. Bathroom are super clean. Souvenir shops by gates

Nice airport for a Caribbean country. The staff are very nice. A very nice touch to start our resort stay with a live band playing right at the first hallway when we got out of the plain.

It may be one of the smaller airports but it is very efficient and the staff is friendly and accommodating

Excellent airport and located at a great location when your destination is to the north region of the country. The Merengue band always welcome all the tourist with music and positive energy.

Small Caribbean airport, clean amenities and promp service. Good experience overall.

Covid-19 protocols good, easy and smooth process. Make sure you get a blue imigration card for when you go through security

Was able to get through customs/immigration pretty quick. Representatives (Juan took great care of us) from the priority pass lounge greeted us and that was a nice benefit if you are a member. Not much in the way of duty free shopping. Pretty simple and straightforward.
