Very well stocked, clean, full service grocery store with an additional household goods section. Wide variety of fresh and shelf groceries including an excellent meat and deli counter. Good selection of international wines and beer. Plenty of staff, quick checkout. Parking lot. Short walking distance from many of the central Sosua rentals.

The variety of products from many countries makes it the perfect one to get the groceries from.
If you are new foreigner in town and are looking for some specific item, product, you can request them to bring it and they will do everything possible to do so.

It’s open 7 days a week from 7 to 10 am weekdays and weekend until 9 pm.

They have a big parking lot.

Their staff is very helpful and will always will be willing to answer any question you may have.

A clean grocery store as well as some other home good items. Well stocked typical American stocked items but can be pretty pricey, examples small Skippy peanut butter $5, vlasic pickles $8, thing is their the only one that caters more to the expats base but you see a lot of locals shopping there as well. I prefer them vs. Jumbo, due to the selection types, but jumbo is cheaper but as not as wide of selection example no Skippy peanut butter.

Best supermarket in Sosua. They have the most varieties and I didn't find the prices reasonable. One tip, if you are using a USA based debit card, request to have the charges posted in dollars. You'll get a better exchange rate if your bank exchanges it.

They are generally well stocked with a large selection. The staff is kind and helpful. The bathroom is clean and well kept.

There are 2 playero supermarkets in Sosúa this is the smaller one of the 2 and is on pedro clisante however this is still a fully stocked supermarket that sells almost everything great for a quick shop as there are rarely lines at the checkout
The second and bigger one obviously has much more choice ..

I recommend it, I am a taxi driver from Sosua and I take my clients to this super market, they really like it because they have everything they need.

This is how is done. Different from janet's supermarket in cabarete. Superior staff, excellent mix of products and exclusive brands. From cabarete to sosua, is worth to give up on janet's and go to Playero

You will find everything you need at this supermarket, including fresh produce and your imported favorites. You can pay via cash or debit. It has ample parking, security and a fee-free ATM for pesos. The only caveat for the ATM is that you have to arrive during the morning hours. By mid-afternoon, the ATM is typically empty.

Love this store. They are the only store that sells the Chocolate Lacor that I LOVE . It's bottled in Las terrenas, but I can't seem to find it in any other store. They also bottle and sell Chinola ,Mango, Coffee and Limoncello . They are yummy too!..
This grocery store sells anything else that you could possibly need too.
