We had a PHENOMENAL TIME with Agora Tours while in the Galapagos. They went above and beyond (literally waking up with us at 5am to make sure we got to the right boat) every step of the way. We did four different excursions with them and honestly I can't pick which one was my favorite. We did the wall of tears hiking tour, snorkeling at Tortuga Island, the Sierra Negra volcano, and Las Tintoreras by kayak. For each excursion Agora Tours made sure we had everything we needed, that we were comfortable throughout the tour, and most importantly, that we had a fantastic time!!! I can literally not say enough great things about the owners, Carlos and Alicia, as well as our other guides, Osvaldo and Christian. This was a once in a lifetime trip for my family (to celebrate my mom's 70th), and Agora is what made it so special and memorable. THANK YOU, Agora Tours!!!

I had the most incredible experience with Agora Tours x2. The first tour was to Los Túneles and I’m so grateful I was with Carlos and his crew. He helped us find sea horses, which was a big treat! He is very passionate about his country and sharing his knowledge of the island. The second tour was the highlight of my entire visit to Galapagos, as I had been dreaming about seeing Oceanic Manta Rays, and we saw 4!! This was a special request tour that Alicia helped to make happen.. so much gratitude. I had read that oceanic mantas could be seen off Isla Tortuga, so that was my special request. The tour she put together included one of our crew fishing upon arrival to tortuga, he landed a grouper pretty fast. Then we cruised along the crescent while Carlos showed us the variety of birds and mating habits. As soon as we got in the ocean to snorkel, we were blessed with our first of 4 Mantas, and it was magic!! So huge and graceful. We also saw several hammerheads and other very large schools of a variety of fish. We then drove to another cove back off the mainland to snorkel some more while our crew turned that grouper into fresh ceviche to accompany our lunch. Divine. I cannot recommend this tour enough, it should be at the top of everyone’s list on isla Isabela, as well as booking with Agora tours.. the best! Primo!

Alicia and Carlos are an amazing pair. We also did the volcano hike with Carlos’ brother Oswaldo. They took great care of us and every excursion was amazing. They even accompanied us to the boat/airport on the way home to make sure we were on time. You will learn tons of history and stories plus anything you want to know about the wildlife!!

My girlfriend and I made a list of agencies to check out/compare prices and what's included on tours. Agora was the first one our list and we went to check it out. After seeing the quality of the store, photos from previous trips and clear explanations from Alicia the booking agent we hopped on a tour leaving that very afternoon to Las Tintoreras. It was a great trip and well done so we booked a trip to Los Tuneles and then a third to La Sierra Negra. Alicia made it so easy to book, the trips of great quality (boats, equipment, guides) and the prices were the cheapest around so such a great value. We highly recommend them! Thanks Alicia for being so helpful.

We booked the Sierra Negra Volcano Tour with Agora Tours and found the trip very well organized. Our guide Alfredo (sorry if we remember his name incorrectly) was very knowledgeable and his animated explanations on the vulcanic activities were great to follow. He also kept our group motivated although we were out of luck weather wise and trudged on in the rain.

Agora Tours were also super helpful in getting us ferry tickets when several other contacts said all ferries were booked. Agora saved our holiday! We spoke to both Alicia and Carlos and both were super nice and took time to explain tours, answer questions and checked if everything went well.

An amazing company! Super friendly staff, great English-speaking tours, and they really go all out to make your visit as frictionless as possible. I couldn't recommend them more. The tour to Los Tuneles is especially brilliant - the landscape is incredible and you get to snorkel with SO many huge turtles. You can also book your ferry back to Santa Cruz with them, and they even went the extra mile of organising an early-morning taxi from my hostel.

We booked our Los Tuneles tour and the Sierra Negra tour with Agora. We found their prices good. Alicia was very helpful, kind, honest and was very accommodating. She even recommended some places to eat on the island and willingly answered any questions we had. The agency seemed to genuinely care about the welfare of the local wildlife and protecting the Galapagos. Carlos shared his local knowledge as he guided us on the Sierra Negra tour. We felt very safe at all times during the tours and are very glad we decided to book with Agora.

We met Alicia outside her office on the main plaza in Villamil when walking past. We chatted with her for about an hour. She is so enthusiastic and interesting and imparts a whole load of information about the island what you can do on your own. She informed us about her tours and was in no way pushy. We opted for the 3 tours we wanted:Tintoreras, Sierra Negra (volcano) and Los Tuneles.
All I can say, truly honestly was we picked the totally correct tour company. All 3 of our tours, and their relevant guides were exceptional. All very knowledgeable about their particular tour and the island in general. Especially Alfredo Bokaño, who studied volcanology, explaining volcanic formations and history and a complete knowledge of the flora and Fauna surrounding us on the Sierra Negra tour. We chose these 3 and we were more than satisfied. Alicia threw in a free days mountain bike rental for both of us (best bikes on the island also).
11/10

I spent 4 days on Isabela and used Agora Tours for my trip to Los Tuneles, Kayaking Las Tintoreras, visiting the turtles, and horseback riding Sierra Negra. I cannot say enough good things about this company or Isabela! They were very responsive and informative from the first email months before my arrival to even coming to the ferry terminal to say one last goodbye. Carlos, our guide was very knowledgeable on the island, the animals, the topography, and all things Galopagos. Having a guide who grew up on Isabela made a huge difference for us. He took the time to share stories of Isabela, its transformation over the years, and its struggles during Covid and a year without rain. Isabela is already a magical place but this company made it that much more special.

Excellent service and very high level equipment, tours and guides. Everything worked so seamlessly we were amazed! We did Tintoreras and Los Tuneles, which were the absolute highlights of our travels in Galápagos. Alicia is incredible, she always went the extra mile to make us happy and find the suitable options for us. Big recommendation!

Very recommended, they organized various tours all around Galapagos for us, while we wanted most of our stay on Isabela. It's such a dreamlike island. It feels like you're visiting paradise, unbelievable. One of the highlights were Los Tuneles and Tintoreras, but all other tours we did were just as great. It was so much fun seeing Galapagos up close.

We could tell they're focused on giving you the best of what's possible. It already shows in the small details, for example all gear (snorkeling, bikes, ..) we've used was of top notch quality.

It made our visit to the Galapagos a really unique and out of this world experience, which we will never forget.

Great service! We booked a bike rental in advance and they were ready and waiting for us right when we arrived. They also prove you with a bike lock and pump. We actually had such a good experience that we decided to book a tour to Los Tuneles through them as well which was also excellent! It is clear they truly care about your experience and safety. I would highly recommend!

I did Tuneles, tintoreras, and biking... two full days for 200!!!seems a lot of money but after all i saw that carlos(our guide) told us we will find.isabela was amazing, AGORA tours was very professional, reliable company! Our trip to Los Tuneles was the best for sure the highlight of my trip. Our guide carlos took great care of us, and obviously enjoyed educating us on the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Galápagos. The guide took photos and videos on his GoPro and shared them all with us at the end of the tour, no charge! That was refreshing, since most other companies charge you a fortune for any photos they take. Going in the bikes and kayak was amazing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGORA

I joined on 2 tours via Agora tours: Tortuga Island and Las Tintoras by kayak. Very friendly and professional staff (English and German speaking). Co-owner Alicia came to our hotel to ensure transport was on time. She also provided various tips for restaurants and other activities. I would definitely recommend them

I started planning our trip to the Galapagos about 6 months before the actual trip began. I had only the information that I had read on the internet to go by. I started contacting different tour companies that I found during my searches. Most were slow in getting back to me and really didn't answer my questions. Alicia, at Agora Tours was very different than the others I had contacted. She got back to me almost immediately and was very good at providing answers to all of my questions and provided information above and beyond what I had requested. Based on her eagerness to help me set up a great trip experience, I booked all of tours with her. She even went so far as to help me find a tour company for an excursion that Agora didn't have available for the dates that I needed. It was apparent that she wanted to ensure that our experience in the Galapagos was as good as it could be.
We ended up booking five tours with Agora Tours (4 on Isabela and 1 on San Cristobal) and all of our inter Island ferries as well. On Isabela we did the Tintoreras kayak tour, the Sierra Negra volcano tour, the Los Tuneles tour, the Isla Tortuga tour, and the 360 tour on San Cristobal. The tours were all incredible and we saw some amazing things. On the volcano tour we saw the endangered Vermilion Fly Catcher, both the male and female, on the Los Tuneles tour we saw sea horses, white tip sharks, Galapagos penguins, lots of sea turtles, at Isla Tortuga we saw some large manta rays, an eagle ray, tons of fish, and numerous birds. These are just some of the many animals that we saw.
Carlos and Alicia at Agora Tours really have a passion for what they do and really try to do their best to ensure a great experience. When we initially couldn't get enough people to do the Isla Tortuga tour, Alicia made bikes available for us to use for the day so that we could bike up to the Wall of Tears. Carlos was really knowledgable and we were really glad he was the guide for the Los Tuneles tour and the Isla Tortuga tour.
I really need to extend more gratitude than words can explain to these two amazing people. I put all of my faith in Alicia because of how she responded to my inquiries and I am very happy that I did. She really helped make our trip to the Galapagos a trip of a life time. Huge thank you to Carlos and Alicia.

Carlos is hands-down the best tour guide in town!!! He spent hours helping us when we needed the cash the most. He speaks impeccable English and is very knowledgeable about the island. The shop is also very new and well furnished. You won’t be disappointed with him!! Just book your tour with him and Agora ;) Los Tuneles is going to be one of the best experiences in your life.

My groups and I (9 of us) had such a fun time riding the horses along the trail of Sierra Negra and walking around the summit with Carlos. He was so informative and very kind the entire way. We did not feel rushed at all and were allowed to really take our time and take in the beauty of Sierra Negra, it's dramatic beauty and the 180 degree views of Isla Isabella North to South. We can't say enough good things about Agora Tours.

We had an amazing time on our tour! We kayaked out to the Tintoreras Islet and saw some great wildlife while learning a ton about Isabela Island. After, we got to snorkel at a vibrant reef with a ton of animals. Thank you for a great experience, we'd highly highly recommend!

My friend and I had an absolutely great experience with Carlos, owner of Agora tours. Carlos helped arrange 3 tours that worked with our timing in Isabela Island.

We did Kayaking in Tintoreras, Snorkeling los Tuneles, and rode horses/hiked up to Sierra Negra volcano. Group sizes were very small and we never felt rushed, as photographers/videographers that was greatly appreciated! All our tour guides, Carlos, Rico, Alex, and Xavier were informative, punctual, personal, and most importantly seemed to enjoy what they do! Highly recommend!! Thank you.
