INTI CHAKRA

Our 2 hour day trip was such a nice experience. After our warm welcome I - as a beginner - got some helpful introductions. The horse was super sweet and calm the whole time. The path was a great mix out of some adventurous parts, a valley, plants and some more chilled parts. Christian made sure that I felt comfortable all the time. I had a awesome experience and would recommend this place to everyone.

I went on the 6 hour ride to see thr Cotopaxi Volcano with Chritian.

They are a very kind and helpful family and collected me and took me back to Latacunga.

The horses are well trained and have easy temperaments and it was fun for me to ride western style.

Its obvious that the animals are well cared for amd have a good relationship with their humans. The dog Lassy was great super friendly and the horses were hapoy to load, catch and tack up which shows they enjoy their work and are not overworked.

The ride was beautiful and a good mixture of easy paths where you could relax and a bit more challenging terrain.

I am travelling alone and stayed to eat with the family and watch them making a lassoa.

It was a great experience thank you amd highly recomend.

Cristian gave us a wonderful ride! His horses were great and obviously well cared for. My 4 year old was asking to go again as soon as we left. We got to meet his family also who were very gracious and welcoming. I can’t recommend Inti Chakra enough, if you are in the area this is a great option! We even got a little glimpse of Cotopaxi during our ride between the clouds.

I can’t recommend Inti Chakra enough. Cristian is laid back, professional and his family has a beautiful farm. The horses were calm and our 2.5 hour ride was beautiful. It was a very personal experience and I would highly recommend it!

Very cool tour! It was my first time ever horse back riding. Guide was really nice and patient with explaining how it works. Even though my Spanish is very bad en English wasn't his first language with hand gestures it was fine and I got a sweet, calm horse. Would definitely recommend :)

This was the absolutely best horseback riding experience ever! Cristian and his family made sure my boyfriend (first time rider) was comfortable before assigning Casamira to him as his horse companion/friend for the day. We enjoyed tea and pastry before the ride, snacks about halfway through, and then a delicious soup made by Cristian's sweet mother at the end. While we waited for the rain to stop, we enjoyed learning about the chakra culture from Cristian, his father and brother who were so fun and interesting to talk to. Cristian even offered to drive us back to Quito due to the hour and continued sharing local Ecuadorian culture and life stories with us. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this family, tour and of course the horses! Thank you for this memorable experience!

It was our first time horseback riding and it was an amazing experience! Cristian was incredibly polite, he even picked us up from the bus stop in Latacunga and after everything he drove us to our hotel! Horses were superb, very gentle and easy to ride on. I reccomend it 100% for everyone!

The horses are healthy and happy (and very well behaved), Christian is an amazing Guide and if you book the 6hour tour you get a very tasty meal on top of all that. Cotopaxi National Park has amazing views and the vegetation is beautiful.

This is the best, most enjoyable excursion to do in the Cotopaxi area. I had only ridden a horse once before, and Cristián helped me feel so comfortable and capable. The views of the mountains are amazing and the horses are so lovely. I can't recommend this enough!

The horses were good taken care of and we enjoyed the horseriding even though it became a bit adventurous when we came into a thunderstorm in the middle of our tour. Christian and his family are very kind and welcoming and warmed us in their kitchen with homemade drinks and food after we got back. We were very happy we chose Inti Chakra for this experience!

I would give Inti Chakra 6 stars! The horses were well kept and there was adequate instruction in the start to feel comfortable and autonomy along the trail so you didn't feel like you were just following along. Christian was very kind and we we warmly welcomed into the family home. As a bonus we got chaps and ponchos making us feel like we were real vaqueras!

Awesome experience

Our family of 2 adults and 4 children had a wonderful time with Christian on a 3-hour ride. I called Christian to book a ride and even though he speaks little English and I speak close to no Spanish, we were able to communicate. We drove about 1.5 hours from Quito to ride with Christian in the morning and then went into Cotopaxi National park in the afternoon for some hiking. If you have time, would highly recommend the 6 hour ride into Cotopaxi. We only did the 3 hour ride but still saw some beautiful scenery on horseback. Christian is patient, honest and kind. His prices are very reasonable so please book directly with him and not through an agency. He is the real deal.
