BELLO RINCÓN Cafetería

My wife and I have eaten here regularly,.as it is a few minutes' walk from our house. The owner, "Dona" Elsa, spent decades in Spain (maybe Asturias?) and it shows in her cooking. While there is a menu, she tends to make us what she knows, given our meat-free diet, will suit us best. The place is small but inviting. Umbrellas are suspended from the roof. A little fireplace is there, but I have not seen it lit. It is open to the elements at the front, and as this is a main street for buses and trucks, it can be noisy,

Many people come here for breakfast. Twice we have chatted with a couple who come to San Pablo from Quito often and always dine here. The batidas are tasty, the soups and entrees satisfying, the fish tasty, and the service is always with a smile.

Friendly service and delicious food. Chef owner is incredibly kind. Would eat here daily if I could. Five stars all around!
