MA-MA-MIA! By far the best National park I have visited on my time here on earth. Estonia is already a nature-focused country but this place is a gem in a gem. You can feel the fresh air moving through your nostrils with every single breath.
This was on a summer evening in July and it was the perfect time. Would 100% recommend.

I went on a day tour to Lahemaa national park from Tallinn, and it was absolutely beautiful. So many nice sites and views but we were also blessed with good weather.

When we asked the hotel staff and tourist service center for advice, they recommended joining a day trip as the best way to reach our destination. However, they also informed us that tours may not be available on weekdays in May. The hotel staff even suggested hiring a car to get to the location via Bolt. However, we decided to try something different and opted to take the local bus to the park. The weather was lovely that day, and the scenery in the park was breathtaking. The pathways were easy to walk and navigate. I would definitely visit this park again in the future.

It is my first visit to Estland. One place to be for nature lovers is Lahemaa National Park. It is one of the areas I visited, that is a candy for the soul. Do hiking, biking or swimming or just sitting at one of the Ostsee beaches and read a book or listen to music or the sound of the wind. Enjoy pine tree and birch woods in hiking and find historical places. Treat the area with respect and have a wonderful time.

It is a beautiful national park. I highly recommend going here. Don't forget to pack your swimming suit, cause you can go for a swim in one of the small lakes.

Great huge park, several amazing hiking trails, highly recommend. Surprising number or private roads and private land for a state park, but if you know where the trails are and just go for them, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful national park in the countryside in-between Tallinn and the Russian border. There is a round way from "Viru raba (parkla)", which you can walk and it takes about 1h 20min (just walking distance, in snow) when you take a little time to watch it can get easy above 3h.
I felt like in an winter wonderland and on top of that we were there on an tower as the sun set .. it was very calm and beautiful!

Very beautiful coast and forest with boulders at the sea shore. There is a very beautiful 15 km hike starting from Kismu, it’s a loop along the sea shore and then in the forest.
If you visit Estonia 🇪🇪, it’s worth coming in this National park where you can hike or cycle. Go beyond Tallinn if you really want to visit Estonia.

Very nice place at half an hour of Talinn!
You can walk in the Woods or have a swim. You can get a tan on the beach or do some exercices on one of the out door fitness stations you can find everywhere.
Locals have their holidays cabin (more a real house) here.

This place is pretty great and easily accessible though Loksa from Tallinn by bus. The nature is really refreshing and relaxing. Nice hikes and lakes as well as the Finnish gulf can be visited while in the park. There is also an eco camp in the park that's definitely worth checking out.

National Park loved by Estonians, it is the place to visit of you want an easy hike, see bogs for your first time or simply spend some time with your family

Walking across the bogs is a fine experience. Bogs and woods, a watchtower that is safe to use and allows you to look at surroundings and their beauty.
It is a park with an easy access through path made of wood large and secure. Even for kids. Highly recommended

Perfect for a day trip from Tallinn. If the weather is good you can do 2-3 short trails and see the diversity of the park.

Really nice place near to Tallinn. Many walking trails. You can go and enjoy the bog in winter or in summer. You can go and swim in the bog and this is totally different experience.

A fantastic day trip from Tallinn. Would much recommend booking a guided trip from the Tallinn information centre as the guide provided plenty of interesting information on the culture, ecosystem and history of Estonia
