We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at the Camel Dive Club. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone wishing to dive (or snorkel) in Sharm El Sheikh. The staff at the dive centre were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. All of the dive guides that we had throughout the week were superb. Their excellent knowledge of the local dive sites meant that each dive felt well planned, safe and above all thoroughly enjoyable. The ability of the dive guides to spot and point out interesting creatures underwater was magnificent and they were masters at accommodating the range of diving abilities within the group. The support crew on each of the boats were superb as well. Someone was always on hand (without ever having to ask) to assist with putting on and taking off kit, and always with a friendly attitude.
The hotel itself was also very pleasant. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and always spotlessly clean. All the staff in the hotel and associated restaurants were friendly and attentive. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at either the pomodoro restaurant or the rooftop bar was delicious and with a great atmosphere – perfect for relaxing after a day on (or under) the water!

Booked into Camel on a Club trip, found it a very organised set up the rooms nice and clean with aircon and tea/coffee making .
The Dive club it self was very professional and made welcome from the moment we stepped off the bus from the airport.
And the food on the dive boat was amazing at 10euros and as much as you can eat.
Our guides stead and Ali were top of their game and the knowledge of both scuba and the sites was unbelievable so impressed am booking for next year.
How ever did find the cost of food and drinks expensive compared to places around the hotel try to pay cash as in the shops they do a high surcharge for card payments.

I have spent 5 days diving with them. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful, always keeping safety in mind. A special thanks to Omar and Alessia!

My husband and I spent a week diving with camel dive, Alyssia was the guide for our group. I have to say she was an excellent guide, going above and beyond. we learned so much, she gave great advice, made excellent observations, and shared her knowledge with those in her charge.

This is the place to go if you are looking for a scuba diving holiday in Sharm and you are NOT into overcrowded, big, noisy resorts.

The hotel is clean, well organized with all the services needed for a nice stay. to It has around 30-40 rooms in total which makes it nice and quiet. The diving center is well organized and it owns/uses the best boats I’ve see out there. Diving guides are expert and passionate about their job. They are there to guide, help in spotting the best marine wildlife and make you feel safe. We had Alessia and Fahd but all the ones we met were great!

Breakfast has plenty of choices, rooftop is a nice plus to chat and have a few drinks enjoying the breeze at sunset.

Stayed at Camel 3 times between 2021 and 2023.

This place was unusually amazing. They run a scuba diving business, but we only used it as a hotel and found it really friendly and clean. The reception team were exceptionally helpful when our daughter was sick, they really supported us and helped out. The food quality at the restaurant was really high standards, best pizza in town. There was also beach access and a pool. Really nice vibe. Warmly recommended!

Stayed at Camel dive centre for 7 nights. The dive guides are friendly and professional, the boats spotless and the dive centre is brilliant. Actually can't fault it at all, we were really surprised at the standard of the rooms & restaurant & bars. Special mention to the on-site ice cream parlor too, so good!! Cannot recommend enough, we weren't expecting anything more than functional accommodation but pleasantly surprised. Would 100% stay again

First class dive school / dive centre.

I have dived with Camel since 2001 and this time brough my children. I cannot fault them; the facilities are good, their instructors excellent. They provide scuba & snorkelling guides on the their boats at competitive prices.

Their accommodation (while basic) are very good and well-located if you're here to dive.

This has been a joy staying here at the camel dive club and hotel, loved the room which was overlooking the dive pool including the balcony. Room service and house keeping were amazing and could not do any more to make your stay so pleasurable. The dive club itself felt very much of a community spirit with people from all over Europe enjoying the diving with guides so knowledgeable and with many years of tutoring under their belts and so felt extremely safe all the time as I took my open water diving course with our fantastic instructor Amr Sambouk, I cannot thank him and the whole of the camel team enough for this special time with them.

My partner and I dove with Camel Dive Club for 4 days and completed an additional course as well. Our guide/instructor was Muhair, he was AMAZING! It was a highlight of our Egypt trip and the staff is very compassionate! So friendly and helpful! The boats are very large and well equipped, not to mention the amazing lunch buffets. I can't wait to dive with Camel again!

We did a week’s diving with Camel. We’re both experienced divers. Camel was one of the best dive shops we’ve ever been with. Super professional, SSI refresher was very good, kit was the standard rental stuff but all in good condition, Nitrox was provided as standard (which we really appreciated after 12 dives in 5 days), and lunch and snacks on the boat were excellent.

Great diving center with amazing people. Spent 7 days diving with Omar, Diogo and the crew of Alaa Mansour and couldn’t have been better. Thank you guys! The hotel is also really nice and met all our standards, with remarkable service. Looking forward to come back again soon!

Had 4 days with the dive center heading to Tiran And Ras Mohamad. Very smooth and professional operation. They do try to match divers by certification level which is not always easy when diving in groups. The boat was nice and not too crowded and all logistics around the diving were without any problem.

From walking into the dive centre you are made to feel welcome. My kids (10 & 14) were booked to do their junior openwater course and from the 1st introduction to their instructor Samir we were confident we had chosen the right Dive Centre.

Highly recommended in the center of Sharm el Sheikh. They have served us very kindly. Very clean boats and exquisite food. A special mention for Tarek, who made us feel very confident, a charming person.

Perfect for all level divers. I felt safe, well taken care of and well informed. Knowledgeable staff, super helpful and friendly. The hotel is very good and affordable. Not new, but very well maintained and super clean. Nice big rooms with balcony and view of pool area. Highly recommend for its friendly staff, spacious rooms, affordability, and overall comfyness and service. Been here twice.

We came to Sharm to dive for 3 days in July. It was absolutely fantastic. The boat was great, the staff friendly and the dive were beautiful. Thank you we will come again.

It’s a hotel, dive center, restaurant, rooftop bar and ice cream parlor under one roof.
Service is excellent and staff is always happy to help, be it reception, dive guides or waiters.

I really love the rooftop bar, Amin has an amazing team and will always welcome you with a broad smile. They serve delicious food and drinks to reasonable prices.

Rooms are big and clean and come with a terrace or balcony. The AC can be a little loud at night, but it will cool down your room fast and reliably.

The dive sites are amazing and the boat is the cleanest I have been on so far. Staff will bring all your equipment to the boat and help you gear up, you really don’t have to do anything. There is food and drinks in the boat (8€/day) and you can do up to 3 dives everyday (3. one costs 25€ extra). They also offer tours to Dahab and the Thistlegorm (highly recommend, day trip costs about 110€ all inklusive). Equipment is in good condition and dive guides are well trained.

They do have a pool which they use for diving courses, so nothing fancy, and you have free access to a private beach, which is often crowded.
