Lovely roadside restaurant with traditional Spanish favorites. The orange and bacalao salad make a great starter. There are outside and inside tables and service is prompt and friendly.

Came across this place on the DK top 10 book on Andalucia and made a big detour just to go there on the way back from Granada to Malaga. We were so glad we did. The staff lace was full of locals and the food here is home cooked and is a bit different to the ones you get in tourist places. We had a breaded chicken and chips for our little one (not authentic or on the menu, but very tasty). We went with the waiting staff recommendations such as the orange salad( orange, olives, salted cod, fried onion, grilled peppers and egg). This was so refreshing and simple. We also had a dish of fried baby goat with liver, garlic, onions and also grilled lamb chops which were both served with sliced potatoes cooked in generous amount of olive oil. We were told thsy this place specialises in casseroles ( some you have to order ahead) and grilled meat. They also do a daily set day menu for €12. We didn't have that as we asked for recommendation and went with that. We also had an non alcoholic beer and a mixture of red wine with lemonade ( the local version of sangria). Highly recommend this place.

Genuinely the best value restaurant I've ever been to. 5 of us went, just over €100 and I don't think we've had better food under double that.
Hand made food, locally sourced and fresh food, wonderful service, allergens were easily accommodated. The custard was to die for! Cannot recommend more highly.

Authentic home made style. Local produce, meat and cheeses. Don’t miss if you’re in the area.

We stumbled across this place 7 months ago on a walk from the town and after tasting their tapas decided we would be back on the next visit. We were not dissapointed. Rustic, cosy and tasty food. The morcilla was esquisite ! Great service, homely and good with kids too. We will be back to stay overnight next time.

So lucky we booked in advance
The place was heaving
The food was excellent
The staff worked very hard and coped very well considering the amount of people
We go here a lot and hopefully will stay there for New Years Eve. If they open then?

Lovely restaurant with good campo food, it would be good if you can speak a bit of Spanish, because they are in the countryside and don't speak English.
