The Corner House Cafe Tearooms

All I can say is, I love the Corner House. It's cozy British comfort food, with weekly specials and new menu items every so often, in addition to the regular menu staples. English Breakfast is a popular dish, and they have a lovely assortment of customizable drinks. The scones/"scons" are fabulous. I love being greeted with a smile, and no matter who attends to my order, I am always left feeling like I've just eaten at my British family's house (fyi I'm not British). I love this place and everyone who works here. Cheers to you.

Always a welcoming smile and great food. Lovely veggie breakfast and they let me swap out the egg each time - with no fuss. Food is hot, fresh and great value. 👍

Can't fault it

We've been here a few times now both for breakfast and for coffee.
The more often we visit, the better it seems to get although the staff transmit their stress in busy times.
Just human nature I suppose because the staff really are lovely and the food is fresh, great quality and very tasty being made from quality ingredients. We arent local, travelling about 20 minutes, but we make a point of coming in every trip to town.

Excellent vegetarian breakfast and lovely coffee. Food was hot and fresh, staff very attentive and friendly.

Great little cafe, service can be a bit slow, but who's in a rush! English owned and run, a meeting place for all the local expats.

If you still want that English breakfast , then this is the place to go . Obviously, there are a lot more options of food

Gorgeous afternoon tea.
The staff are very friendly, very good prices too.

Last Sunday went with friends for Sunday lunch. Most had a giant Yorkshire pudding with a traditional Sunday roast inside. Imagine my delight when told I too could have the same ! YES a gluten free version! Whoopee!!! It was amazing and then came pud, again a gluten free version, happy days. 😊 Hoping to be there again this week. Excellent service and food, well done. 😚

Absolutely fantastic, great service, great atmosphere. Food was outstanding, would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to have the afternoon tea.

Very good and very British, but that's why people go there. There's a panaderia a short distance away for anyone who wants something authentically Spanish, but if it has to be a full English with HP sauce, the Corner House doesn't disappoint.

Great homemade food , non meat eaters catered for . Cakes are fab. Tea in China cups if prefer. ,Or mug if tea if you live tea. Great service,& staff nothing too much trouble , requests taken.
