Camping El Sur

Excellent campsite near Ronda. Level generous pitches with good clean shower block. Grey, black and fresh water. Wifi through and good value for money. Great friendly reception from the lovely Carmen on front desk, who speaks many languages; There is much to visit in the area, plan for 2/3 days at least. The restaurant attached is really good. Recommended.

We stayed in our motorhome and loved this site. The pitches were ample and level. Electric hook up was on the pitch and toilets, showers were nearby. The toilets and showers were clean and the best I've seen, there were plenty of both. The staff were friendly, helpful and very cheery. We arrived late Christmas Eve and although they were closed, the security guard, took our detail and found us a pitch. We stayed two nights and were able to walk into Old Ronda and take in the fantastic sights. Fully recommend this site. Thank you to the staff.

We stayed for 2 nights in our campervan and the site is great. Staff were lovely and friendly, pitches good size, facilities were good. Location is great...20 minute easy walk into beautiful Ronda. Site was easy to find. You can choose to stay on site or on the parking area which is cheaper and as electric and facilities. Really enjoyed our stay here.

A well thought out and highly maintained park with everything you'll need.
Spotlessly clean and modern showers and wash area, launderette with drying area, easy EHU, waste and fresh water.
Very large flat gravel stands. Totally safe and secure site.
It's a relatively easy 20 minute downhill walk into old town Ronda but of course its uphill coming back.
Loredana at the reception is a pure delight with her infectious smile and willingness to please. She seems to speak every language fluently.... whilst waiting to check in I heard her speak French, German, English and of course Spanish.
We were allocated a numbered space but she said we could pick any pitch we liked but to let her know which one.
If you are visiting Ronda this is the site....it's around €27 inclusive a night but gets cheaper the longer you stay ... not the cheapest but worth it for the pleasant, clean modern facilities.

Seriously good camping, not too big, good sized plots, and all facilities very good - toilets (paper), hot showers, nice basins (soap and hand dryer).Full camper facilities very nicely done regarding grey water, potable refill, toilet waste. Very friendly reception and €25 per night in winter after a little negotiation.
Roughly 30 minutes walk to Ronda down a gentle gradient, which seemed steeper coming back after a long day. Simple supermarket 20 minutes walk, bigger ones the other side of Ronda. Th town is well worth a visit, especially the spectacular bridges and gorges.

What a great place! Beautiful campsite 20 minutes walk from Ronda old town. Very welcoming and helpful host. Even, spacious pitches, nice and clean sanitary facilities. Hot water in showers and for washing dishes. Bread in the morning. Excellent value for money. One of the best campsites, I've been to in Spain. Really recommend!

Stayed in the Area de caravans, basic facilities, but the staff were so friendly and the restaurant was lovely food well priced too. Walkable into Ronda

We loved Ronda and this RV aire. We were there in November and parts of the aire were not open. The toilets and showers were free and the toilets had seats. The area was quiet. The dump stations were well designed and easy to use. We recommend.

It was such an amazing stay! We came with our van and stayed for two nights. The spots for the campers are very nice, the location in general is very clean and very beautiful, especially the pool! You can feel that the people there put a lot of love in this place. They are all very kind, especially the lady of the receiption is a lovely, very helpful and simply great person! Thank you so much - we definitely consider to come again in the future :-)

Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops, and the stunning sightseeing spots of this ancient city.

Stayed there middle of May for two nights without reservation, easy check in upon arrival. One of the nicest sites we had been so far, somehow rural but super clean and well maintained. walking to Ronda (about 30mins), or by bike (15mins) is easy, just down the road. Restaurant was also good. Certainly a place we would recommend.

Great spot to camp for a night and walk to Ronda. A little pricey for just a patch of earth toi Park on.

Very nice camping, owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful! Also there are artworks around the camping which makes it a bit special. The pitches are large and flat, the facilities are good and clean. And the bread in the morning is delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

We stayed in tent here for 3 nights instead of just 1 we planned. Everything was excelent - facilities were clean, comfortable, we had a spectacular view of the city of Ronda which is only 20 min walk away, surroundings is beautiful. Many thanks to a very friendly reception lady. 🙂

Had a wonderful couple of days here in one of the apartamentos. Nicely fitted out, beautiful pool, gorgeous surroundings and super-friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

A marvellous campsite. Lovely restaurant, pool and great pitches. Bathroom facilities clean and modern. Expensive but worth the money. Easy to walk into the local town. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and friendly staff who put up with this dirty cyclist's poor Spanish and even helped me find a space to keep my bike out of the rain. Showers hot and powerful enough to take your skin off, all facilities were very clean. The whole place was clean and well taken care of. There is a small shop with basic things, but not a lot. Ronda is walking distance.

We stayed next door on their autocarravannas parking which are smaller basic pitches but still has everything you need and just 15e per night. Just 1.5km walk into the beautiful city of Ronda. What's not to like?. Its uphill coming back but refuel at the bars in the square before attempting the hill. Such a peaceful site and nice staff.

Carmen at reception is a very welcoming host. The shower /toilet blocks are exceptional and the most modern we have come across on our camping travels. The gravel plots are large and well kept. The restaurant was closed unfortunately for holidays but we aim to return in the next few weeks. Only a 20/30 minute (depending on your pace) walk into the picturesque beautiful town of Ronda and various trails for the hiker/walker /runner/cyclist enthusiasts. The best campsite we've been to 💜
