San Vicente de Ávila

History, faith and architecture beautifully preserved and dated back from 12th-16th Century.

Just a perfect place, one of the most beautiful town I've ever seen, it's a magical place, if you come to Spain (Madrid) it's a most for you, just one hour in car to get there.

So much history in this cathedral. History told about Mother Teresa of Avila is great while on tour. Great architecture and sites to see.

Awesome interior because of the colorful stones used in the construction. The shrine portrays the martyrdom of St Vincent and his two sisters.

Amazing basilica with incredible history. Very cheap too! Only €2.30 per person.

This is splendid monument of Romanesque medieval architecture and culture of Castile and Leon built in XII century on the place of martyrdom of Saint Vincent and his sisters Saint Sabina and Saint Cristeta. Splendid sepulcher of three Martyrs, San Vicente and his sisters. Splendid sepulcher reliquary for preservation of Martyrs was made in XII century and and still preserves its original polychrome colors. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light. Must see place at Avila.

What a Beautiful Basilica. But dress warm Avila can get rather cold. Probably one of the coldest places in Spain.
