Iglesia dedicada al Santo Nombre de María, construida en 1913 por los misioneros Capuchinos.
Cumplido un siglo de su existencia y aun antes, su estado de conservación dejaba que desear, por lo que se acometió su restauración en 2020, reinaugurándose en febrero de 2023, fecha en que se celebró la dedicación, dado que nunca se había consagrado canonicamente como catedral, y se consideraba hasta entonces como 'procatedral'.
Aunque no es una iglesia grande y la comunidad católica del lugar es reducida, es la sede del Obispo Vicario Apostólico de Harar, y es bonita y esta bien cuidada.
Junto a la iglesia está la residencia del Obispo, que también es casa y despacho parroquial, y hay también un orfanato.
