Good museum about old vaasa.
They charged me 10 euros for admission, but I also got to visit two other museums(Kuntsi modern art museum and Tikanojas museum)on the same day by showing same receipt.

My recent visit to Vaasa's Ostrobothnia Museum was a journey back in time, offering a fascinating insight into the early history of Finland and the everyday life of its people. Nestled in the heart of Vaasa, this museum proved to be a delightful experience for both me and my eight-year-old daughter.

As we stepped through the doors of the museum, we were greeted by a treasure trove of artifacts and exhibits showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Ostrobothnia. From ancient artifacts to recreations of common life during that era, the museum meticulously curated each display to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of Finland's past.

One of the highlights of our visit was the immersive living arrangement, which captivated my daughter's interest. Through meticulously crafted displays, she was able to visualize and experience firsthand how people lived centuries ago. From traditional household items to clothing and furniture, every detail was carefully preserved, allowing us to step into the shoes of our ancestors and appreciate their way of life.

The museum's educational approach made the historical narrative accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages. Interactive exhibits, informative signage, and knowledgeable staff added depth to our experience, enriching our understanding of Ostrobothnia's cultural heritage.

Overall, our visit to Vaasa's Ostrobothnia Museum was delightful. It offered a captivating journey through time, allowing us to connect with Finland's past in a meaningful way. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply curious about the early life in Finland, this museum is a must-visit destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and left with a newfound appreciation for the rich tapestry of Ostrobothnia's history.

Great museum, only cost me 5 Euros to get in and wasn't very busy. There were English language descriptions of the exhibits on cards near the doorways and the building it is in is also nice to be in.

Nice place, looks small from outside but is big when you go inside. Has multiple parts about more that just one area - history, nature, geography, local history...
Has a nice small shop with cafeteria
