Kivikoski Cottage

This was our second time at the cottage and I can surely say it wont be the last. Last time we with bigger group and I would say that this cottage is at its best when it is not completely full.

The outdoor sauna (known from being at Big Brother Finland back in the day) is definitely my favourite of the two saunas in the property. Indoor sauna of course has the "real sauna" feeling but the stairs to the seats in there are not that comfortable in the late hours of the evening.

The hot tub ("palju") was also one of the main reasons why we choose this cottage this time. We spent earlier this year a week in a cottage where the tub was not located this close to the cottage and I can say it affected my usage of it quite drastically. In here we almost every morning started to heat the tub and just enjoy it while watching last sunsets of the summer and watching clear starry sky. Only thing that annoyed here a bit was that the close by road noises were quite loud, but we did not notice them last time when there was more people and more noise, but this time when it was just two of us they were more apparent. Luckily there was a bluetooth speaker that you could play some tunes from to mask the car noises :)

Overall I would say 10+ for the place, only downside is that when you enjoy renting the hot tub and you want to stay for longer time it gets REALLY expensive - but if you can overlook the cost a bit, then nothing wrong :)

Kodikas, rento kelohonkamökki joen varrella. Oikein mukavat sängyt, eli hyvin nukutti. Varustelutaso oli hyvä, ainoa mitä ei löydetty oli pitsaleikkuri joten pienet oli meidän porukan puutteet :) Tullaan toistekin!

Das cottge ist traumhaft schön! Leider waren wir nur für eine nacht hier aber wir hatten die gelegenheit alle annehmlichkeiten zu nutzen (hot tube, glassauna am fluss, baden im fluss bei ca. 0 grad aussenteneperatur 😛) was für eine wunderbare erfahrung! Man fühlt sich wie neu geboren! Die vermieterin der häuser ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht, alles zu regeln. Sie hat tolle tipps für ausflüge und kennt sich bestens aus mit typisch finnischen süssigkeiten! 😍

Pleikkaria lukuunottamatta paremmat laitteet ja härpäkkeet kun kotona. Joen ranta ihan saunan vieressä. Mahtavaa.

Parasta mökillä on sijainti joen varrella, sekä se, miten on onnistuttu säilyttämään luonnon läheisyys.

Todella viihtyisä ja kaunis mökki, sopii niin perheille kuin kaveriporukoillekin. Erityisesti lasisauna on upea.

Hieno paikka. Laituri voisi olla vakaampi ja kahvinkeitin täytyisi uusia.
