Kafe Mank (vegetarian cafe in Joensuu)

I have been eyeing to go to this place ever since I learned of it. I finally got the time and energy to go! Yay!

Location:
- It is found in Joensuu's City Center. If you are studying in UEF, you definitely have a new cafe to chill out when you want to have coffee and listen to great music.

Ambiance:
- I love the minimalist esthetic. It is usually the case in Finland, as I noticed. All glass, wood, metal mixed with calming colors.
- As a millennial, the music selection is lit!

Coffee:
- They have a lot to choose from! The owner seems to be a hardcore coffee person, since you can choose coffee brewed in different modes like Chemex, V60, Aeropress
- They have cold brew here! I ordered their cold brew for my visit.

Dessert:
- I got no picture but I got these wafer like dessert that has marshmallows in it. They have vegan and gluten-free options

Tip: if you are a student, don't forget to bring your student card for a student discount :)

My favorite cafe in Joensuu! They serve a large assortment of AMAZING coffees and teas; there is truly something for everyone! The cafe is super cozy and is a great place to study and/or hang our with friends.

Great little independent coffee shop off the main square, serving better quality coffee than other places we've tried and specializing with very good teas and pour over coffees - something I haven't seen in Finland before. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Baked goods were excellent. Loved their unique dishware.

Very good café with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. Their flat white also comes in a cool looking cup.
Also in case you need to freshen up after a long hike in Koli you can find deodorant and other hygiene items in the bathroom.

Lovely place with an amazing selection of coffee. Didn't expect to find a place like this in Joensuu

Great service and brilliant baquette with lemonyoghourt, carrot jam and mint! And of course the coffee, we have been waiting for places like this to come to our dear hometown💫

В центре города новая кофейня уже приобрела своих благодарных многочисленных посетителей.
На вид простой интерьер, но просторно, мило и чисто. Предлагаются разные виды кофе/чая и различные способы приготовления их.
Порадовал ассортимент кондитерских и кулинарных дополнений к горячим и холодным напиткам.
В этот раз пробовали морковный торт, который оказался исключительно вкусным. Отличным был и капучино.
Внимательное и доброжелательное обслуживание.
Есть выносные столики и кресла снаружи, что даёт возможность насладиться и солнечным днем, общаясь с друзьями.

The best cafe in these parts of Finland, or perhaps in the whole damn country. I haven't had this nice coffee(s) anywhere else in Finland. If you are used to anything else than the usual "Finnish style coffee" which is burned down gasoline, this cafe is your place! Come here for a coffee! 🥳 You can choose your roast level, beans, method of making the coffee.. honestly what not to love? It's a treasure for Joensuu's cafe culture, but also for any coffee lover in Finland ❤

Poikkeuksellisen hyvä espresso ja mielettömän maukas vegaaninen suklaakakku! Kaunis sisustus ja kiireetön&rento tunnelma. Tänne tulen ehdottomasti uudestaan!

Joensuun paras kahvila. Erittäin laadukas kahvi- ja teevalikoima (ei mitään juhla-mokkaa tai liptonia) eri tavoilla valmistettuna. Erittäin maukkaat käsintehdyt syötävät ja huippu palvelu. Kahvila on myös laitettu oikein tyylikkääksi. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Best cafe in Joensuu. High quality beverages and handmade edibles with great service. Very stylish. Warmly recommended!

Hyvää jääteetä (hibiskus). Mukava valikoima eri teelaatuja ja kahveja Cookie oli juuri oikealla tavalla sitkeä ja rapea sekä suklaata siinä oli sopivasti.

Viihtyisä ja rauhallinen ja ystävällinen kahvila

Hyvät valikoimat kahvia, paikassa vähän keskeneräinen fiilis, mutta kiva kokemus.

Kofeiiniton ja laktoositon latte oli todella hyvää, jälkiruokaleivos myös.
