Balade barrage la Barthelasse

I recently visited the newly constructed footbridge on the Oiselet island, situated north of Barthelasse, and I'm compelled to share my experience.
This place is absolutely stunning, offering a wild and pristine glimpse of the majestic Rhône River.
From here, one can gaze upon the distant Mont Ventoux, creating a picturesque backdrop that's nothing short of breathtaking.
I am utterly convinced that in the coming years, this spot will become a must-visit destination for tourists coming to Avignon, regardless of the season.
The spectacle of nature here is extraordinary, and the bridge itself, exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists, is a metallic masterpiece of engineering.
Its presence adds a unique charm to the already magnificent landscape. Don't miss the chance to experience this remarkable place - it's truly a highlight for anyone visiting the area!

Ballade super en famille ! La passerelle est top !

Quel magnifique endroit ! La verdure à côté d'Avignon. Les balades à pied où à vélo s'imposent.

Ah!!!! L isle de l oiselay... un bayou en Provence.
Avec maintenant le pont de San Francisco. 🙂

Pour moi c'est magnifique, a voir absolument. Ils on fait un travail formidable.

J y vais pour faire des photos (un lieu riche en faune) ou pour marcher (10 km en moyenne) un lieu apaisant qu il faut protéger.

Jolie promenade avec un début un peu difficile dans une zone en travaux. On construit ici une passerelle.
