Camped here in June 2023. Was lovely and quiet being an adult only site. Lots of facilities (fridge, freezer, washing up sinks, coffee machines, kettle etc!). I did miss an electric hook up but you could charge phones in the coffee area. Could do with some more showers and toilets perhaps when busy. But all kept super clean and tidy. Each plot also has its own BBQ area. Would definitely stay again. Local pub and shop all within walking distance … also great cycling destination.

This is our second visit to this site. To be fair, it was not fully booked, so the facilities were not under pressure. 3 showers and 3 toilets kept spotlessly clean. There is a small shop with an honesty payment system. Plus, a fridge and freezer are available for your own items. And a microwave and coffee and tea supply for a small charge. Very friendly and helpful owners. The grass pitches were all in excellent condition and well looked after.
Quite close to the coast. There are no electric hookups, but don't let this put you off. Give it a try.

This is more than just camping. This place revives the soul. From the moment you pull on peace and quiet washes over you. Facilities are great and the owners take the time to meet and greet. Having had a bad time recently this is the first time I have felt truly happy.

This is a very quiet site. Tina and Andy welcomed us. Showers are kept clean. Fire pits in the field. Extremely friendly owners ; we arrived with a very mudfy caravan due to huge muddy pudfles on the way; Andy invited us to use his water power jet and long brush to clean the caravan which we found was such a nice gesture; on the site Tina created her "honesty shop" based on trust of people. We ll be back. Thanks for making our stay very relaxing. Nat

Booked this last minute and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. Really lovely peaceful flat grassy site with all the facilities you need to escape from it all. I now realise the advantages of a child free campsite as the games, books, hairdryers, table tennis, covered seating area, honesty shop etc would be impossible to manage with unsupervised kids running about. Lovely cosy pub within walking distance across the fields. Perfect for what we needed to relax :)

We so enjoyed our stay here. Bathrooms could not have been cleaner or smell nicer. Every pitch has a fire pit and there’s kindling and marshmallows to purchase from honesty shop.

Lots of super nice touches. Toiletries for sale, nice things in bathroom, whiteboard for putting in your shower time so you can social distance without hassle.

Great base for exploring Suffolk.

I think this is the nicest campsite I've ever stayed at! The facilities were sparklingly clean, and just beautiful- there were so many little extra touches that make all the difference- a cafetiere, microwave, fridge freezer, toiletries in all the toilets and showers, hairdryers, loungey/chill out areas, firepits FOR FREE on all pitches to name but a few! Tina and her Mum were beyond helpful and friendly too. Absolutely love it and would recommend in a heartbeat. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful, quiet, well managed, friendly campsite just for grown ups. Clean loos and showers. Access to a kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer on site (shared use). Places to recharge phones and power banks. Dog friendly. Will definitely come again. Easy access to the A12 for visiting the local beauty spots.

Have stayed here a few times now and will keep coming back. Spacious camping pitches, clean facilities, no kids, open fires, what more can I say?!

Wonderful campsite. I was a bit apprehensive not having an electric pitch but the facilities were so good it was totally unnecessary. Friendly, light touch management seems to rub off on the other campers because everyone was friendly and considerate. It's very quiet and child-free so more for peace-seeking couples and small groups.

Quiet, adults only site. Very well organised with lots of personalised touches to make you feel welcome. Fire pits for every pitch. We were four couples and stayed in the orchard. Very enjoyable, apart from typical UK Bank Holiday weather!

What a perfect site, ticks all the boxes regarding clean facilities, large pitches with fire pits, however Brick Kiln has so much more. Owner run we received the most friendly welcome and walk around the facilities; great touches throughout making the site beautifully charming and unique. Thanks

If I could give this place ten stars it would not be enough. The rooms, yes rooms, are great. Main bedroom features stylish decor, a double bed of firm matress and enough sockets to run a Server Farm. The kitchen, yes kitchen has a micro, fridge, cooker and cupboards, and a small dining table. Outside the entrance to the flat is a washing machine and dryer which you are welcome to use. The ensuite entails bath, shower, and WC. Also a basin for those not use to a WC. There is delightful covered area adjacent to your exit with seats (sofas) and tables where you can smoke. The grounds of the place are huge, admitadly, I am staying in the off season for campers so space for parking is not a problem. If you are looking for a place to holiday over the weekend instead of a trip home this is the place. Brilliant. Tina seems to be very kind also.

Fantastic campsite. Friendly and Tina is an excellent person making sure you enjoy your stay. It is fantastic as you can have fires and the site is lovely. It's so good I have a visit once a year. Best to turn you phone off at night, light a fire and enjoy a beer (locally purchased real ale of course!) and sit back and relax under a lovely Suffolk sky.

What a fantastic find. We stayed mid-week and enjoyed both the ample facilities and the abundant wildlife in the area (a little owl, yellowhammers and a couple of spottings of a hare in a nearby lane were highlights).

I understand the site has now switched to adults only, which probably works better for those wanting peace and quiet; I hope it gets enough custom so it is available in that mode again in the future as I'd love to go back.

Great for kids, but not in a "holiday park" kind of way. My boy loved the play area. Showers and toilets are clean and good other facilities such as kettle/microwave/toaster which was unexpected but came in useful. Nice touch was the provision of washing up liquid (i forgot to buy my own).

Pitches were well sized.

Would recommend that tent campers invest in a set of rock pegs before coming as the ground was quite hard with a lot of underground stones. These present no issues though if you have the right kit.
