Nothing negative to say about the car park. We didn't have service, but were able to pay with card at the machine all the same. There were great brochures detailing routes available for free in a sheltered area, plus well-marked trailheads. Also ample parking spaces.

Great starting point for a number of well-signposted walking and biking routes of varying difficulty. The purple route is a flat and interesting route which passes the site of the reported UFO landing, and takes about an hour at a leisurely pace. Parking is easy to pay for via the Ringgo app and reasonably priced.

A really excellent walk. Still and quiet woodland. Really peaceful and many bird calls, refreshing for the soul and great for the soles. Lots of different trails, one can walk, trail run, cycle or ride horses through this exceptional woodland. The occasional roar of an American Apache Gunship from the nearby airbase reminds one of the stories from the 1980 ufo sighting in the woods. The site is marked by a replica UFO and the spot genuinely does have a unearthly feel, although the graffiti adorning the Martians 👽 spacecraft brings on back down to earth rapidly😆Well worth a visit as it’s out of this world.

Easy to reach location with proper & working Ticket kiosk(far better than ones in most Towns) as speedy enough, further litter free.

Great place for long forest walk or even better for bike ride.

Cycling or walking perfect place to go for a few hours.
Or you could try the UFO trail
They have camping sites to and a visitors centre.

Only £5 for the day, it closes at 6pm - so just make sure you are back in time. There is a toilet block, playground and information centre on site.

Make sure you have £coins will take cards as well one tip use a sat nav for visitor centre.

Lovely walk unless you are in a wheelchair chair then its not so fun.

Rendlesham forest .... we love it amazing place for a walk with the dog or to spend the whole dat with the kids and the cost of a couple of pound fir parking.... fantastic.

It's great to walk the dogs and grandchildren. Needs a refreshments bar

I visit 4 or 5 times a week so the annual permit at £32 is a bargain.

Walked here for years. Worth getting a parking season ticket
