Loved this place ! Best Indian I've ever had. Monday night, 630 and the place was buzzing. Lots of regulars, mainly having the Thali, which I'll have next time. My mutton was delicious, we shared a starter. Family owned and run. Loved it all, we'll be back

Had a large order for a stag party. I was provided with a direct contact, Kam, who was very helpful. I had to alter the quantity and dietary requirements a few times and he was more than happy to help.

We ordered food for a family of four and as usual the food was top quality. I was super excited to see 3 free items. Are freebies were chicken tikka, mushroom rice and poppadoms with pickle tray. Happy customers once again.

Very warm welcoming place, had a birthday meal there. Catered for all ages. Tha staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious and more than enough for us all, definitely going again

Me and my husband love this curry house. Our food tonight was amazing so fresh and tasty and came quickly! We’ve stayed with the same curry house for years and would never move to anywhere else! Would highly recommend to anyone!

I feel the need to start this by stating that the older reviews on this page relate to the previous establishment at this address ' The Balti hut' (which was not great)

New owners took over towards the end of 2018 and it became The Jolli Indian and oh my goodness what a drastic change it is from its predecessors!

After hearing many a rave review from the locals and the new take away on high street being the talk of the community for some weeks we decided to give it a go instead of our usual favourite Indian place - bit of a risk when you have an established favourite but we had high hopes after the reports we'd been hearing!
The menu builds those hopes with a wide and varied offer that includes lots of dishes that were new to us and sounded tasty and interesting. It certainly isn't the standard Indian cuisine offer you find in most take away places. Everything is reasonably priced and was a little cheaper than our usual place which is a bonus.
We opted to try 'something new' and ordered a Makhanwalla and a Murghi Manchuria along with pilau rice and a garlic naan - we were not disappointed by any means. The curries were delicious with lots of flavour and were satisfying to eat, rice was well cooked and the naan was soft and fragrant. Portion sizes are generous and you definitely get your moneys worth. They also threw in a few poppadoms with sauce and onion salad for free which was a nice and welcome gesture.
Our 8yr old son tried one of their special 'Bombay Boxes' which is a unique and interesting take on mix and match food and he was very pleased (he chose the lamb kebab with balti sauce and naan). There was an impressive amount of food packed into a small carton with a small price tag and our son declared it the best Indian food he's ever eaten (and 8yr olds don't lie when it comes to food! 😂)
We ordered over the phone for collection and our food was ready in 25 mins which was great but I would expect it to be longer for delivery but definitely worth the wait.

Overall we were really impressed with this take away and will definitely use it again and will be recommending them to others. We are already looking forward to trying some of the other interesting dishes on the menu.
A full 5 stars awarded here and very well deserved - I just hope it stays this way and continues to impress us!

Side note: ordering is very convenient as you can order and pay online through their website Or just eat or go the traditional route and call to order them pay by cash or card.

Never had a bad meal when I've eaten or take away and such a friendly staff

First time I've tried it and I was not disappointed the meat was excellent an extent of taste that I have never experienced I think I'll be going there again really nice lads well done I'm hard to please

Popped in here as havent had a curry for a while, and everything I had was hot, delicious and very tasty. Couldnt ask for more will definitely be using again

Last night I had the best Indian meal in years, since the original Balti Hut changed ownership. Fabulous food !!

Best indian food place around expect long delivery times as always busy food always fresh full of flavour eat here regularly chicken saag is amazing
