D.G.Heath Timber Products

Id like to thank Jamie and the staff at D.G Heath.
I'm converting an 200 year old chapel in the North West of Swansea and needed quite a bit of specialist wood cut to size, for the roof king spans and joists.
this was not a problem for Jamie and was all delivered in under a week, you cant fault that at all.
the company are reasonable with their prices too and are willing to go that extra mile.
i will be back for more materials in the future, thanks again lads.

I had a main gate, with a curved heel, made of hard wood with a side gate. Both made to my measurements and fitted by myself. the gates closed to within 0.25" with very little adjustment. All of the joints fit like it was a plastic solid molding.

I came across DG Heath online whilst looking for a Millbaord cladding stockist for our holiday let project and I'm so glad that I did. I have been dealing with Jamie who has been fantastic providing detailed quotes of everything we would need to arranging quick deliveries. Nothing is too much trouble, I will definitely be ordering again.

Having recently had a composite decking structure built I can honestly say that D.G.Heath have been by far the best supplier to deal with and cannot recommend them highly enough to others.
Right throughout my project all staff I had dealings with were very professional, knowledgeable and more than willing to provide me advice and guidance that enabled me to get the right products to deliver the outcome I wanted.
I have to give mention to Dan and Rhys for putting up with my constant nagging, questioning and indecisiveness - but not only that - all other staff from delivery drivers, office staff and yard staff I had dealings with provided exceptional customer service and made the whole experience of the project an enjoyable one.
To experience this level of customer service from all staff within a company is rare and is a testimony and credit to D.G Heath.

Well, where do I start? D.G Heath timber products are a 40 minute drive from where I am and they still managed to beat all the local builders merchants without me even needing to haggle 😉. My order was 260 3x1 treated at 2.4m. All the local suppliers would of had to order them in as they aren't a popular size. D.G.Heath was able to deliver, exactly what I wanted, on time with no issues at all! They are able to supply any size you require as they have their own cutting facilties, which is good to know for all is trades! I will 100% be using this company again, product is top notch, the staff are great to deal with and the service is what you want when you need to get things done! Big thanks to Jaimie, Dan & Luke for their help, top guys 👍!

Highly recommend DGHeath, a local company in Pontarddulais. Extensive range of high quality products at competitive prices. Excellent customer service, all the staff I dealt with are very knowledgeable and helpful with advice on which products to use. Quick delivery with drivers who are very friendly and cooperative. I have accomplished so many projects in a brand new, large garden. Purchased wood to build slatted fencing, construct raised vegetable beds, planters, sleeper walls, covered block terraced walls and a pergola with Trex decking. So convenient to source everything from one place.

I was recommended this place for wood from a friend, never been there before and always went to B&Q or Wickes for my timber. Never again. The staff at DG Heath were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave recommendations and even cut the wood to my specifications. I have to shout out to Paul who offered a great solution to a product that was out of stock. This saved me time and money.

I had excellent customer service from DG Heath. I left it late to order a new internal door to go with a new kitchen and the guy who processed my order went above and beyond to get me the door I wanted delivered within 4 working days and in time for the fitting. I thoroughly recommend using this company as they were brilliant 👍

I always use d g heath for anything in the garden! The prices are always excellent, the customer service is always impeccable whether I have a delivery or pick up from the yard. The service you have is always second to none and over the last 10 years of using d g heath I have never had bad service and the quality of timber is always excellent too! Had a quote last week from Jamie Jones, excellent price, they could have delivered it within a couple of days but I picked a later date! It turned up early morning and on time. The driver was extremely friendly and helpful and yet again the quality of timber is second to none!

Can't recommend D G Heath enough. From the boys at the counter, to the boys delivering.
After recently being unable to pick up materials due to my van being off the road, I asked if there was any way they could drop off materials for me. Not only did they manage to arrange delivery on short notice, it came out the same day, and the delivery driver even helped offload,and carry it round the back of let's say, very awkward area. I couldn't be more grateful thanks again to Jamie in the yard for sorting things out for me out. Fair play, not all hero's wear capes.

Would like to thank Jamie Jones for helping us through the process, we ordered Canadian western red cedar from them witch we struggled to find else where, after ordering we had the delivery way before we expected since we thought it would take a while since it’s not a common timber.

Having decided to replace an old decking with Millboard composite decking, it was a pleasure dealing with DG Heath. Dealt with Jamie who seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing and provided a detailed quote and good delivery times. Following the delivery, working with the boards, my wife has now decided to replace another old decking with millboard. Once again great service with Jamie. Only DG Heath for me, whenever I plan a job they are the first port of call for any product the service from walking through the door to the delivery is unrivalled.

I don't often leave reviews but after my recent experience with DG Heath i feel compelled to do so......

I have been purchasing building products for over 20 years from a variety of merchants. Recently I became a new customer of DG Heath. Immediately i recognised some significant and refreshing differences in the way they conduct their business.

- Pricing is super competitive and cheaper than rivals. So far I've found a variety of their C24 grade timber cheaper than C16 equivalents quoted by rivals.
- Service is especially good. They are super keen to help and it is clear they are prepared to go "above and beyond" to help. I especially like the ability to request and receive quotes via WhatsApp. This is very useful when busy on site and don't want to wait around on phone etc.

An example of great service experienced over easter long weekend....i received a load of 3x2 and 6x2 timber just before Easter long weekend. All timber suppose to be C24 grade. Late Saturday i noticed the 3x2 was C16 (mistakenly loaded and shipped wrong grade). I sent a quick WhatsApp message when i realised the mistake. Realising that it was Easter weekend i didnt expect a reply until Tuesday, ie. after bank holidays. I was wrong. Within 5 minutes i was contacted by Jamie Jones of DG Heath with an apology and a solution to the mix up. Exceptional commitment to service- thanks mate. Jamie is super helpful, friendly and keen to offer great customer service.

Really pleased with my timber from D G Heath. Very quick delivery by friendly and helpful delivery man. Stacked it neatly in my front garden. No problem when I needed to order more as I was a bit short and delivered it to be there when my carpenter needed it today. Very competitive prices and good quality.
