The Lounge Cafe

Very friendly service from the couple who run it. And this cafe serves the best panini in Abingdon. The panini are large, full of flavour, and accompanied by a well dressed side salad. The Americano coffee is also excellent (strong flavour and a generous size).

Didn't realise we were wandering in on their first day opening since covid and it was just brilliant. The owner is so lovely and couldn't have been more accomodating to us with two babies in tow to complicate matters! It was also lovely and cool on this ridiculously hot day. The chicken salad looked amazing and tasted even better.

Some places just have a good vibe and this is definitely one of them. Will definitely be back!

A real little gem! It is such a rare treat to find a independent cafe these days in a high street filled with bug American chains I was so pleased to find The lounge cafe. The owners are so lovely and friendly the menu was great I found it hard to make a choice as there were so many lovely choices. If your looking for a really nice cafe and want to support local then give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Much better than McDonald'sbetter than Greggs , chatty better service,clean. very happy to recommend Great value bacon egg and a drink for £4 approx. Will visit again

It is always a pleasure to go to The Lounge Cafe. The hosts are always welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and prepared with care as are the hot drinks!
The Lounge Cafe is nicely tucked away from the busy road. A perfect and quiet retreat to enjoy a moment of peace or read your favourite book over a lovely cup of coffee.
I highly recommend visiting!

Very nice cosy place, ideal for meeting with a friend and chat as it quiet and not crowded. Only shame that has very short opening hours.

My favourite cafe to visit. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There's a wide variety of food on offer, freshly cooked. In my opinion they do the best Americano I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Love this little cafe that has a wide range of cakes, sandwiches and cooked lunches. Staff are warm and welcoming and I always enjoy coming here for a catch up with mum. Definitely recommend!

I went to the lounge cafe today with my mum and her friend. The lunch we had was lovely the owner is always polite and can’t do enough for you. Every time I go to this cafe I would give the food a ten out of ten best cafe in Abingdon by far

Incredibly friendly staff. Great food, in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Nice for a peaceful meal away from the hustle & bustle of the town square.

Best cafe in Abingdon. Unostentatious, simple food served well. Try one of the salads. For lunch go after 12:30 or it will be full. Closes at 3.
