It's fair to say that Steven was presented with something of a challenge with the replacement of a 30 year old boiler and all radiators. However, once work began after the initial consultation and acceptance of the quote Steve and Kane were absolute professionals , giving updates on the progress of the work and explanations of any unexpected problems they'd encountered. At the end of each day they made sure I had hot water and the system was running as well as it possibly could at the end of each day while the work was in progress. Most importantly I felt that they both took pride in their work which created an efficient and clean service. Steven is a very personable tradesmen who puts the interests of the customer first and I would have no hesitation in using his company again and wholeheartedly recommend Steven Maude Plumbing and Heating to anyone needing such services.

Steve Maude helped us out when our oil tank was condemned and we ran out of heating fuel over the Christmas period. We had never used him before, but he quickly got us a new tank and moved jobs around so that he could fit it right away. He and his staff were pleasant, helpful and adaptable. Plus they did a good professional job. Well done Steve much appreciated.

Steven responded very promptly to our central heating problem coming the same day we rang him. He got the system working and came back the next day to make a more permanent repair. He was very efficient, tidy and extremely pleasant. We will certainly use him again and would thoroughly recommend him.

We had a sudden failure of the toilet so looked for nearby plumbers who could come and help out quickly. Steven answered our call straightaway and arrived within the hour to assess the issue. He then went out to source the items needed for a repair and again returned promptly with the items. The aged toilet was fixed as good as new, much to the approval of my mum who’d been finding it difficult to use the old, stuck flush button. Steven was a great find; local, prompt, able to solve our problem, and at a realistic price too. We’ll use him again - highly recommended.

Steven has assisted us over several years and most recently replaced taps, installed a new Oil Tank and serviced the Boiler. The whole activity was problem free for us. . . Great service.

After calling so many plumbers in the area, who most said they could do the job which was a leaking shower and needed a new rainfall shower, old tiles removing, plasterboard taking out an replacing, and also replacing skirting boards and a new vent in the bathroom. None of the people actually turned up to do the job after promising they would, I emailed SM Plumbing who came straight away, explained what needed doing and fitted me in when my tenants went in holiday I was over the moon with his response time and workmanship, if anyone in the area needs a plumber contact them and forget the empty promises from other companies 10/10 thank you so much.

Steven fitted a new oil fired boiler at quite short notice when the existing one finally gave up and had to be put down.
From the outset he was responsive to queries ( in a language I could understand), always on time and extremely careful to make as minimum disruption / mess as possible. Excellent work ethic..highly recommended.

Bathroom refit, really pleased.

We cannot rate the quality of service and professionalism of the work and attitude of Steven Maude and his workforce. From initial contact, he understood our requirements, he provided a quote straight away, he confirmed a date, and he arrived on time, with all equipment. The old boiler was replaced with the new and they even had their own vacuum and cleared up as well. The heating was all checked, all safety measures put in place, and polite and pleasant attitude by all members of his team. All the instructions were relayed thoroughly to us on the operating of the equipment, so we could understand. Our heating has never been better, and would very highly recommend this firm to anyone, they were a pleasure to have in the house.

Would definitely recommend Steven Maude Plumbing and Heating. We had our oil boiler replaced before christmas and out incoming water supply replaced. Everything was completed professionally and it was all good quality. It was done with us giving fairly late notice too.

We will definitely be using this service in the future if we have any need for it.

Steve has recently replaced my bathroom suite, this turned into a more protracted job due to the inadequacies of the original work, which was not done by Steve. Steve rectified all the problems keeping me informed of each step along the way. Any issues or queries that I had he addressed quickly and the end result is a bathroom that is well planned, usable and smart. I would happily recommend Steve for his professional friendly practical style.

We had a really tricky shower room done; Steve and team were amazing, punctual, communicative and the shower room is AMAZING!!!

Needed an emergency fix to a leaking radiator valve. Steve and James arrived within a couple of hours and undertook the repair. Fast, efficient and trustworthy. Highly recommended.

Steven installed a new toilet and then renovated the kitchen surfaces and installed a ceramic sink/draining board. All the work completed on time and to a very high standard.
