Homebase - Abingdon

Love the Christmas shop and even better with reductions!

Went in to buy specialist paint. Couldn't find what we wanted. Two members of staff (lovely ladies) were so helpful and patient and went to a lot of trouble to find us a suitable paint. Great service!

Looking for something I wasn't sure of the name of... An assistant was most helpful and found what I was looking for. I also needed MDF, she measured it to make sure it was the correct size and got help for me to get it out of the store. A very excellent experience.

We came today to look around for a BBQ, we spoke to Ali, who was so helpful and did everything to answer our questions. His customers service was great, to be honest we were thinking of going to have a look at your competitors around the corner but it was due to his customer service that we did not and we got the BBQ along with some accessories. Well done Ali at Homebase Abingdon.

I always enjoy browsing around Homebase. For anyone like me who doesn't get excited about DIY they have a good range of homeware products to entertain while your other half is looking at the DIY section. Garden section outdoors is small but stocks the essentials.

Staff are all nice and helpful, which is rare for these kind of stores. Regularly visit for home improvement/renovation bits and paint mixing, the guys on the paint desk and tillpoints always really friendly - generally choose this Homebase over the B&Q next door.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice new shop offering a wide range of DIY and garden supplies. They still sell kitchens but do not offer an installation service. But please feel free to contact me for that as an approved wickes and BandQ installer. We shopped in there for a selection of planting equipment and prices were slightly high but of good quality.

Real eye opener to see such a comprehensively stocked store. Clean, tidy and well laid out.

Spacious store. Well laid out. Aisles clearly labelled. Very quickly found required product and paid for it swiftly at the checkout where there wasn't a queue.

Beautifully laid out shop with plenty of room to walk around.
The displays are delightful and made me want to buy everything :) so need many more visits...

Shopped here today, and had amazing service from a couple of the team, and then I spoke to a guy called "Rob" who helped me find exactly what I wanted and he had a "nothing is too much trouble attitude". As I left he thanked me for shopping there

I can't leave this shop without at least 3 new houseplants! Great range and quality- finally a shop that sells plants that gives them enough light in store that they aren't shriveled up
