Five stars or one? Was on a day trip to the park near this place it’s a nice park actually, pregnant friends son needed the toilet and went here. Ten minutes later my son needed the toilet, not a wee so I as dad decided to go here. Expecting no issue I asked a lad with dark hair serving on the till if my son could use the toilet and that it was a longer toilet trip that he needed, was refused he said we don’t allow any members of the public access to the staff toilets for health and safety.

Is that right I said, I’m actually with friends in the park and I know for a fact you have just let her use the toilet... still refused me, so I said he was discriminating against me as a father and as my friend was pregnant you let them. Staff member still argued the answer no. You cannot have one rule for one and another for another it’s discrimination. If that’s your policy stick to it.

Causing a minor conflict the two younger members of staff a girl and lad asked what the problem was I explained and she said yes it was me who let your friends son use the toilet and your son is also welcome to. That’s why the five star rating. We have to many rediculous rules today staff need to be able to make sensible decisions which these two young ones did.

If an adult asked I could understand refusal however in the circumstances co op need to co operate! The world is full of idiots with no life experience that have no kids and lack reason. I thank the two staff who cooperated.

Decent selection, helpful staff, just need to keep the chicken and bacon sandwiches stocked 😂😂

I found it handy to get some milk bread and snacks for the children to do a school pack up late on a Sunday evening because all the major shops were closed

This place is alot like poundland just that it doesn't sell everything for a pound. I thinks its a groceries version of poundland and could do with more toys just like poundland could do with more food. But I think generally its a nice little shop.

Staff are always helpful but there are a lot of delivery problems so not a lot of things are there all the time
