Fort Orange

The environment is very cool and it is well maintained. I love it here if you want to listen to small history I got, pm for it 😋

I have really enjoyed visiting Fort Orange, the fishing port and the lighthouse, in Takoradi. The people who are selling fish in the harbor have been very nice. Later, I went to the lighthouse and there a boy explained to me some things related to the lighthouse, he was very kind. The views from there are a real beauty.

Nice area with old tradition and very old building. But don't photos around because is forbidden on some places and people are worried then u make photos. This lighthouse is from 1640 .

One of the richest tourist sites in the history of Ghana.
It holds important history and artefacts from the post Gold Coast era.

We chanced on Ebenezer Ansah who told me about the Fort. The sense of cruelty was felt. Today we stand freely to learn and to imagine what our forebears went through.

The place has a very nice and serene atmosphere. It's good for sight seeing.
