Very friendly and good service. Working air conditioning. Our breakfast was ready exactly at the agreed time. Very lovingly furnished with interesting information about the history of black people in America.
Two hundred meters to the main street. There we always got a taxi straight away to the wonderful beach between Elmina and Cape Coast

Stayed here after a really tacky and unsafe experience with a nearby Airbnb.

The proprietor and workers were very hospitable. The room was well appointed and comfortable with A/C. Breakfast was perfect; substantial but not heavy. I loved the historic/educational photos on the wall honoring various prominent figures from their home country (Jamaica), and other diasporas.

I'd absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Almond Tree the week after Christmas to the day after the new years. Sonia's and Byron run a wonderful establishment. The owners and staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The home has charm, hospitality and peace. It was a much needed respite from the day to day life we lead in the USA. If you need a place to stay while in the Elmina/Cape Coast area please check out the Almond Tree.

Really cute and rustic. Love the veranda. Super gorgeous foliage. Room had a cathedral ceiling and a decent ac. Bed sheets could be better quality.

Everything and everyone was wonderful from our check-in through our checkout. The rooms and decor was panAfrican appointed and the grounds with the foliage and trees were exceptional. This is a bed and breakfast facility.
