A nice locally-owned hotel in Livingston. The room had AC and two beds. It was Q200 per night, which was a great price for what it was. Super close to the beach and the town of Livingston. Also a quick walk to the best restaurant in Livingston—Gamboa Place. Would definitely recommend.

Las habitaciones del Hotel El Garifuna son cómodas y acogedoras. Si bien no son lujosas en términos convencionales, reflejan el estilo de vida y la autenticidad de la comunidad garífuna. Están decoradas con elementos tradicionales y cuentan con las comodidades básicas necesarias para una estancia agradable. La limpieza y el mantenimiento de las habitaciones fueron impecables.

Uno de los aspectos más destacados de mi estancia en el Hotel El Garifuna fue la deliciosa comida que se sirve en el restaurante del hotel. Los platos garífunas auténticos y sabrosos fueron una verdadera delicia para el paladar. Cada comida fue una oportunidad para probar nuevos sabores y experimentar la auténtica cocina garífuna.

Tarifa para chapines, barato, cómodo, limpio, lastima que no tiene piscina o hamacas, la playa a un par de cuadras el aire muy limpio sin contaminación auditiva, delicioso para descansar del estrés citadino y económico. Para pasar las fiestas garifunas excelente

Town in Guatemala

Livingston is a town, with a population of 17,923, in Izabal Department, eastern Guatemala, at the mouth of the Río Dulce at the Gulf of Honduras. The town serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. It was Guatemala's main port on the Caribbean Sea before the construction of nearby Puerto Barrios.
