We loved this place so much that we ended up eating dinner here twice in our 4 days at El Paredón.

On our second visit, my friend and I both opted for the green curry—one with chicken and the other with shrimp.

Honestly, we didn’t expect to find such incredible Asian food while in Guatemala, but it was truly amazing!

Like many places here, service tends to be leisurely, so expect a laid-back and unhurried dining atmosphere. It’s all part of the chill vibe of this little surfing village.

Amazing food, lovely vibe and quick service. Some of the best Thai curries I’ve had outside of Thailand, so we came twice in a week! Generous portions also.

Amazing cocktails with real fruits.
Seating is outdoors on the grass (use mosquito spray) or upstairs in the wooden deck (but that's a bit hot given you'll be eating curry). Plenty of vegetarian options with tofu.

One of my favorite places in Paredon🫶🏽🔥 food is amazing! I am obsessed with Gary’s the Shrimp Pad Thai and Green Chicken Curry!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The food is sooooo delicious and the drinks are top notch. Highly recommend the Malaysian noodles and the mojito!

Awesome curry! it’s a bit on the light side, but it doesn’t take away from the flavor and the selection of vegetables adds to the flavor of the dish. If you like spicy, try the green curry. Warning! It’s spicy. In my opinion it’s the best food in Paredon!

amazing curry! i had the red curry with tofu and vegetables and my husband had the yellow curry with shrimp. both were amazing ! highly recommend

Absolutely loved this restaurant! I had the Milanese noodles and my friend had the green curry and we were both so pleased. Service and ambiance was also lovely, such a great vibe!

Great food and fresh with a very good amount of different veggies. The amount was also generous. Nice change from the typical rice and beans. Would recommend when in El Paredon.

What an amazing spot! We had the Thai noodles with shrimp and the Malaysia noodles with chicken. Large portions. Served quickly. And so so so delicious

came here for a yummy cozy dinner and that’s what we got :-) enjoyed watermelon juice, tikka masala + cheesecake. delicious, fresh food and great service!

Delicious meal, full of veggies, and fair pricing! The red curry was spicy enough, the sauce was more like a broth but nonetheless very tasty and it felt good to have the liquid to drench my rice hehe :) thank you guys!

I slept at soul food kitchen for one night and I really enjoyed my stay. It was a cozy, neat and relaxed place to be with a nice swimming pool, tasteful food and almost right on the beach. The room was spacious and had amazing pillows! The owner Gary was absolutely helpful. Would definitely recommend going there.
