I stopped by Tornado’s for a coffee and some lunch. The garden out the back is cosy and comfortable, the staff are very kind and friendly, and they definitely serve the best coffee in San Pedro. The food was also decent, and very reasonably priced. Be sure to visit if you’re in San Pedro!

One of my favorite spots in San Pedro. The coffee is amazing, the people who run it are warm-hearted and super nice! For the time I was there I forgot where I was actually, cause the vibe is so relaxing. If you’re looking for tasty food, delicious coffee and a place to escape the noises in the town - I can 100% recommend!

I honestly could not recommend this café more. Not only were the drinks consistently delicious but the staff are so kind. We were studying Spanish at a local school for 3 weeks and would visit most days in the morning to do our homework. Staff wanted to help us practise our Spanish as well as them practising their English. There is a stunning garden with lots of sitting areas and complimentary bug spray given out by the staff. If you are in San Pedro you have to visit.

Hands down the best cafe in San Pedro, set in a beautiful calm garden. The family who run it are amazing, all of the staff are really warm, friendly and attentive. The coffee is lovely and the pancakes with fruit, yogurt, granola and honey is delicious! They even gave us a little gift to say goodbye ❤

What can we say? We stayed in San Pedro for about 2.5 weeks exploring different cafes while I did Spanish school and Alex and his family were by far one of the most welcoming and fun cafes. The cafe space is amazingly tranquil with its plants and furniture, very homely and relaxing it was the perfect spot to do some study and work. Alex also speaks English and was very fun and welcoming, he also has a travel agency called Tornado so you can also ask him about that if you're interested in any tours or shuttles!
Finally, they really care about the coffee and you can tell.
Good drinks, vibes a coffee art 🐨 thanks for reminding us of home! 🇦🇺
Orele chag!!

P. S suggestion would be to have some mosquito spray though as with tropical plants they're around.

My favourite place to go in San Pedro! Really amazing coffee, very tranquil garden to sit it. What really makes this place special is the family that run it here, they’re so lovely and also really encourage and help you if you’re learning Spanish! Thank you so much to them all!

Loved stopping in at this cafe! It was a perfect stop in the mid-day for a caffeine fix and to sit in the garden area. We ordered the mora smoothie, iced chai, and a mocha frappe. Would order each of those again from here. I wanted to get the carrot cake but they were unfortunately out.

I chatted with the barista, Elena, for a few minutes and the end; she could not have been friendlier!

My favorite coffee shop in San Pedro - it’s further away from the main drag, but worth the extra walk (I went here almost every day). The coffee (hot and cold coffee drinks) is perfect, the owners are lovely, and there’s a gorgeous little backyard where you can watch the hummingbirds feast on the flowers. The wifi is fast, and there are a few food options on the menu.

What a wonderful cafe! The garden is so beautiful and calming, a great place to have a coffee, have a chat, and just relax. Plus the best coffee I had in San Pedro! They grow the coffee themselves. We also got the tipico breakfast and pancakes. All super delicious.

This is a great family-run business to check out in San Pedro. Have a chat with Alex and Elena (siblings) if you get the chance! They are so friendly and welcoming.

Awesome cafe in San Pedro!! Serving hot and cold crushed ice coffee. The carrot cake was very fresh. Well worth the 7 minute walk from the boat dock, to enjoy a coffee in his garden. They have so many beautiful flowers. Prices are great. Family run place, who are quite knowledgeable about coffee. A must stop for a break from all the noise of the city!!

Perfect little coffee spot in San Pedro. It is a locally-owned, family run place. Everyone is super lovely and they have created a very homely atmosphere with green and cosy surroundings. The coffee is great and so is the food. Special shoutout to Saq B'ajlam who looked after us throughout our time in San Pedro. Looking forward to returning to San Pedro and will definitely continue to visit this beautiful spot.

Wonderful coffee shop; amazing value, taste, quality, and service. Peaceful garden beautifully decorated and manicured. Good place to relax and chill.
Staff was extremely friendly and attentive, even recognizing and thanking us as we simply passed on the street during our visit to San Pedro. Visited here several times and certainly recommend it.
