Excellent service, affordable and professional!
Like almost everyone else here, I had a trip planned that started with a day off in Antigua. I knew I needed a root canal and crown done very soon because of pain, so I called this place to see if they could work with my schedule. They were very accommodating! They started right away on two root canals and had the crowns back from the lab by the end of my trip… Definitely planning to come back here for future dental work!

Had an emergency root canal done here whilst backpacking Central America and my experience was excellent. Great communication throughout, flexible with appointment times, and Dr Ana did an amazing job (whilst also helping to teach me Spanish!). Recommend to anyone travelling to/through Guatemala.

I had an excellent experience at Bestintown, is no surprise they have such a fantastic rating. The dentist, receptionist, and dental assistant were all very professional and friendly. The dentist speaks excellent English which made things much easier for me as my Spanish isn't very good yet. She took the time to explain everything and did a very thorough job with the exam, cleaning, and fitting for a mouth guard. They have modern equipment and I feel the prices are very fair for the excellent service provided. I would happily recommend Bestintown for any dental needs you may have.

Was in town visiting and had an issue with a broken tooth. I was able to get in for a last minute appointment to have it looked at. I ended up needing a root canal and they did it on the spot. Totally pain free and amazing Dentist that I would highly recommend! I ended up making another appointment for the next day for a teeth cleaning and whitening. Very happy with the work done and would absolutely come back! Also English speaking dentist for those that wonder. Thanks!

Can 100% recommend this clinic. I had a dental cleaning, easy communication via what’s app and got a very spontaneous appointment. Clean, professional and for a quite affordable price compared to what you pay for dental cleaning in Europe.
The doctor itself made the cleaning, she is super friendly and speaks perfect English. Would come back again!

I have nothing but praise for Smile Antigua. Making an appointment via WhatsApp was quick and easy, and Dr. Ana Cecilia was able to see me the next day. After a quick cleaning, I was feeling good as new.

My daughter needed a very deep cleaning and she had an infection in her mouth mouth for lack of hygiene, which was very sad…

She needed x-rays and eight cavities filled! I got seven preventative cavities filled as well. That’s 15 total!!

This meant she had four different appointments And each time they sent us a text and and checked on her and gave good advice and excellent care and work.

It was hard to get through because it was a lot of work, but they did a great job every time and I recommend them absolutely.

Had really bad pain in my teeth, was able to make an appointment straight away and got seen super quickly. The doctor spoke perfect English, which really helped, and she was able to diagnose and treat the issue immediately. Very good service!

Dr. Cecilia was wonderful. I had a gum infection which I hoped if caught early enough could be treated with antibiotics and would require nothing more. Being in town for only 4 days then heading up to Lake Atitlan for 3 weeks I really needed to see someone asap. Without an appointment I walked in on Sat morning and she saw me right after a scheduled patient no problem. She gave me a thorough check and confirmed all I needed were antibiotics which I purchased on site. Wonderful experience, great dentist and very reasonably priced, definitely recommend. Thank you for being there!

I've been a patient of Dra Chacon for several years now and my experiences have always been absolutely satisfying. She gives new meaning to the word service and follow up. From setting up my appointment, through the visits and finally after she completes the work her excellent staff send me notes just to ask how I'm doing. any discomfort? Any pain? Medication related advice and so on.
The Doctor doesn't give me the chance to worry or fret over what she will be doing. She explains procedures step by step if I show the interest or concern. Her conversation is full of the most assuring laughter given that she's about to poke me with the syringe or drill away.
As a preteen my experiences with dentists was to put it mildly traumatic. This left its long term mark. I only wish I'd 'found' Dra Chacon long before. Her professional demeanor almost immediately erased my deepest concerns. I've had wisdom teeth removed with her clinic, root canal, (note: no pain) , fillings and cleanings, crowns. I am very picky about going to the dentist. There's no need with her.
Rest assured your visit to her clinic will become one of your good memories.

Highly recommend this dental practice. I experienced pain in my partially removed wisdom tooth, so contacted clinic on Monday. They arranged appointment for me straight away for next day. Clinic was very nice, with very professional staff working there, and some of them also speak English. Dentist told me that I have infection and prescribed me antibiotics and painkillers, and arranged appointment for tooth removal on Thursday. Removal itself was not painful at all, and very fast. All was done for reasonable price! Staff also checked on my recovery every few days. 5* experience from the start to right to the end!

Shortly after arriving in Antigua I started suffering from some tooth pain. I was quite scared actually as I’m travelling solo. I was so relieved when I found this dental clinic and the lovely calming clever dentist, Dr Chacon Lopez. Turned out I had a bad infection underneath an old crown which required quite a lot of work, antibiotics and then a new crown. I’m not saying it was fun but I’m so grateful to have had such diligent dental work done in Guatemala. PS She also speaks English.

I felt in safe hands as soon as I sat down in the chair. They have Very kind and accumulating staff and I was happy with the results of my teeth!!

Had to have a wisdom tooth removed whilst travelling in Central America. This dentist was the best and looked after me extremely well. I felt at ease having such a big procedure done away from home! They made me very comfortable and checked in with me the day after to make sure everything was ok. Would recommend to anyone
