La Taverna

I love Aury and her place La Taverna. She’s an excellent hostess and hires the best bartenders. The prices are super reasonable, especially if you make it for happy hour. There is a dart board and they are always playing great music. If you’re nice they might even play a request. It’s a bar, not a restaurant, so she’s happy to allow outside food. There are at least five other restaurants inside centro comercial La fuente, so it’s a good place to go with a group.

Great bar! The staff is so friendly, the deinks are delicious at great prices. It' located in a plaza, so you can order food from the restaurants next to it (the ham and cheese platter from next door is delicious). You can play darts, enjoy good music and have a calm evening with friends!

Had a great night at la Taverna. Aury is the best bar tender in town. Super friendly and fun. Will come back and hope to meet her at Gallo Pinto Café in Granada/Nic one day (para que siga la fiesta ;)

Best bar to play darts in antigua, right next to Brooklyn pizza company so you can grab a slice of pizza easily while you play and drink. Aury and Alejandra are the best bartenders!!

We spent a month in Antigua and there were a few people and a few places that will forever leave an impression after our visit. I am leaving several reviews that highlight the people and the places we will never forget.

We just loved chilling at La Taverna. It is small but that is what makes it a great place to meet locals and expats. Cold beer, liquor and great cocktails (really enjoyed the Mezcal Margarita).

Aury (the owner and bartender) is one of the wonderful Antiguans we will never forget. We actually met her with her dog at another restaurant.
She was so nice to us that we had to go visit her at La Taverna and we were so glad we did. Her English is better than mine and she helped us with our Spanish. She makes great conversation, tasty drinks and is just a wonderful person. Ella es la mejor!

There are a few really good restaurants inside the beautiful courtyard to enjoy. The will bring you their food into La Taverna. Highly recommend a stop here.

Muy buen ambiente, la dueña está siempre atenta y a cargo de que todo esté bien, el personal es fantastico, muy amistosos. Le ponen interes a que el publico este motivado y contento. Muy recomendable.

Chelitas?... Claro!! No sólo de CAFÉ viven los Baristas, y el servicio en la La Taberna siempre ha sido de Lujo... Después del trabajo, un día bien "X", me gusta ir a refrescarme con una chelita bien fría.. Muy recomendado
