Our experience at Hotel Evenezer was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite having a reservation made through Hostelworld, we arrived only to discover that our reservation had been inexplicably canceled 10 days prior. The lack of communication from both Hotel Evenezer and Hostelworld left us stranded on a holiday weekend, scrambling to find alternate accommodation. The staff offered apologies and provided a big of assistance, but we were still forced to secure a last-minute Airbnb at triple the cost.

The utter disregard for customer communication and the subsequent inconvenience make Hotel Evenezer a regrettable choice for any traveler.

About Sipacate
Town in Guatemala

Sipacate is a resort town and municipality on the Pacific coast of Guatemala, in Escuintla Department about 36 kilometres west of Puerto San José. It is promoted as a venue for surfing. Being roughly in the center of the Guatemalan coastline, it is used as a breakpoint for storm warnings. The Sipicate-Naranjo National Park is located east of the town. The municipality was formerly a part of La Gomera Municipality just north of Sipacate. source
