El Portal Cafe

A cute little cafe bang in the center of Antigua. This was the first cafe I stopped by for breakfast first day in the town. I ordered a chocolate croissant and latte which was absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable and the staff were courteous.

The mint lemonade I got was absolutely delicious! The cafe is beautiful and has a mini artisan store inside. I bit on thé expensive side but it is local meets designer vibe. I enjoyed the ambiance And the good service and clean and neat place. It is also a few feet from the arch and the main cathedral in Antigua.

I would recommend this place.

Really cute cafe, stopped by everyday that I was on Antigua. Love the croissants and the desserts were good too. We tried the chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Great location right across the square. Sitting areas.

Great place for a coffee.. Dessert and wifi! Right across from the park.. Comfortable atmosphere too!

We had some Smoothies and a Kombudscha for drinks. Both were very delicious. The stuff was very kind and the atmosphere was super. Had a beautiful sight on the central plaza

Had a vanilla latte and croissant. Great value and right infront of the central park. Would come back to try their menu.

The cappucinos here are perfect and the loft overlooking central park is a great place to people watch. I do have to add that the prices change everyday for the cappucinos-beware!

Nice cafe right next to the main square. Open air seating. Got some Irish coffees with a ham & cheese croissant and a Nutella croissant. The coffee was delicious! And so were the breakfast sandwiches. I preferred the ham & cheese but my fiancé likes the Nutella better. Just like most girls would.

We came here for tres leches multiples times, highly recommend! All of there cakes look so good and they are in a great location.

This is a great and comfortable place to spend some time people-watching. The side tables with the cushions were some of the most comfortable seats we found in Antigua. Desserts are good and the decor is fun. Great service too.

Loved this little cafe - a nice place to watch the football in a more classy setting. Food was very yummy and the staff were very friendly. Really recommend.

Be careful with this listing. It's confusing. There are two fine Café near each other. As far as I know one is called Cafe El Portal and the other is called simply &Cafe which is part of a chain. I think it could help the site if the moderators fixed that. Help clarify. Just saying.
