Anthony's Chicken

Personally, this is the best local restaurant without frills on the island if you ask me. We stayed at the other end of the island past Loretta’s and we made the walk into town at least 3 times for their food. Freshly grilled fish and sides for $15?! Order ahead if you can and avoid the long wait. No AC but the food was always worth it.

The food was delicious! It was so tasty and made with quality ingredients. This family-owned restaurant is amazing. We asked if I could get a vegetarian plate and they were able to prepare such a flavourful meal!

Wanted to give a shout out to this fantastic restaurant right on the water! The owners were super wonderful to talk to, (we found out that Anthony’s is name for the owner and his son in celebration of their family). Best jerk chicken that I have had so far on the island, increíble view, beautiful plants everywhere and super cool art. You will love it!!! We all got the Jerk Chicken, and zero regrets were had. Best I've had outside of Jamaica. Staff were friendly, they had a movie going, and it has a nice down home feel to it. We went because it was on several must-try lists, and we can understand why!

Excellent food and service. The spicy jerk chicken was great and the view from the restaurant gives is perfect during sunset.

Great food at a great price. I had the Grilled Beef plate and husband has the spicy jerk chicken plate and they were AMAZING! DELICIOUS! A gem in West End. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent and unobstructed, beautiful sunsets.

This jerk chicken is fantastic. My favorite is the medium spicy. A full meal too... The garlic potatoes are perfect, and the red beans and rice are so good. This is a must visit if you come to west end.
Update... This is still my favorite place to eat in West End. It's da bomb!

It’s affordable to eat here. They are known for their spicy Jerk chicken. But for me, I like the fried chicken the most,I like the spicy sauce on the side. The people here are very friendly and caring.

Excellent spot for dinner with friendly service. The food hit the spot after a night dive. I highly recommend their jerk chicken and their red beans and rice. Service is on island time, but don't let that discourage you. Get some beers and sit by the front for some fantastic people watching.

Anthony’s Chicken is truly a gem in the West End. You may not notice it as it’s next to the few noisy places in that row of restaurants, but it is by far one of the best restaurants in the West End, and I’ve tried most of eateries in west end, and as a New Yorker I am
Picky. They are famous for their chicken, but coming from Brooklyn I eat so much Jerk I ignored the chicken, besides why would want to eat chicken in Roatan where there is all that good sea food. The place is so good I kept going back for dinners; the owners are awesome, a Honduran family, excellent customer service, and the quality of food was superior to other midrange restaurants I tried in the West End.
They had a whole fried or grilled fish special, served with coconut rice and plantains that was incredible. It was so good I had to go back a few nights later and try it again.
In another occasion I had the grilled steak (I know I said otherwise, but needed a break from seafood). The grilled beef too was tender juicy perfectly grilled served with rice and beans and cooked plantains, yum.
I am certainly going back there.

So good and yummy. People are nice and kind .Chicken and banana chips are really good.

As previously described the jerk chicken was fabulous, moist and the medium spice was perfect. The side of rice&beans had a nice touch of coconut, garlic potatoes nicely boiled then spiced and the pico de galo was fresh and tasty. The grilled yellow tail/red snapper was cooked beautifully. With 3 local beers it was $30 US or 610 L. Lovely owners, modest restaurant with locally made furnishings.

Best food we had on the island! The jerk chicken (medium) was out of this world delicious-juicy, flavorful and finger licking good! Conch soup was great too. Pick this place for a meal, you won’t be sorry. All 7 of us loved it.

A hidden Gem, with all the Chicken served, this is a great place to eat. The owners are great people, they are there to make sure you enjoy your meal. The prices are great and if you get a seat at the roadside bar section you have a nice view of the ocean and foot traffic as you enjoy your meal and drink.

Best fish tacos and grilled fish in town!!

The food was great was great, was so happy, had it twice in one day 😋. The fish, pork chop and chicken are awesome. Should have tried it day one. She was very nice and friendly and and speedy with the food. Definitely give it a shot including if you like heat not many options on the island for spice lol

i ended up here by chance and it was so good 👍🏾 I recommend the jerk chicken , you can customize the spice level or get the sauce on the side as I did.
It comes with rice and beans (coconut rice 🤤) and sweet plantains or garlic potato . The woman working is super sweet and she works hard ! Definitely a gem in west end

Locally owned waterfront restaurant with great food, friendly owners and service. Jerk chicken is our favorite. Can get boneless If you prefer.

The spicy jerk chicken was amazing! The best I've ever had. Their rice and beans are my favorite on the island so far. We will definitely be back.

This little gem is always on our list of must have places when we’re on the island! The jerk chicken is consistently delicious and moist; we like it spicy and ask for it that way. The side of island rice and beans tastes of coconut. Great views
