This is definitely a dreamy little spot. We visited Josie’s daily (and sometimes multiple times a day) while staying in Utila. The food is fresh and delicious. The views are fantastic. The lattes were perfect every single time. On top of that, everyone who works there is awesome and makes sure you get everything you need.
It’s by the ferry so grab a bite and a latte when you arrive and when you go. I can’t wait to return.

In my opinion, the best café on the island. I tried lots and lots and settled on Josie's as my favourite. The food is delicious (especially the pancakes) the staff are friendly and it has a real community feel to it with lots of regulars.

We came here a few times during our stay on Utila. Good breakfast! Also a very nice place to spend your time at.

Had a ack hair in my food 2 times, so recommend the cook to maybe wear a head or put her hair in a ponytail.

This is the place we ended up visiting a total of 3 times during our week long trip to Utila. It is excellent. The service, atmosphere, food, & drinks are all top shelf. The iced chai teas are delicious, the avocado toast was my “go to” & my partner kept ordering the cinnamon banana pancakes so they must’ve been tasty for him to order them three times! Definitely a must for the island & highly recommend.

Best view of the ferry! Located directly on the Utila Dream Ferry dock, just past the ticket office. Ideal for breakfast before the morning ferries to La Ceiba or Roatan.

Hit it 👍🏿! Definitely a must go to on the island. Some really yummy options had a very reasonable price. The coffees are good and all the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Can get busy during lunch hour so make sure you go early to grab a seat.

The food is amazing! Crispy bacon every time and their iced coffee is top tier :) Food comes out within 10 mins and HOT. So it’s made to order :) I’ve been here twice already and I’m always satisfied. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. The decor is cute too!! Love the cafe

Amazing!! This place is wonderful. The food is excellent, and the owners are always nice, smiling and kind. We ate there almost everyday. Take a look at the photos, and Go try yourself, you won’t get disappointed 🙂

Such amazing food!!! I would go here every day if I wasn't trying to try more places on the island. Super nice people and great food. The fritters with the Full Plate tipico breakfast are dreamy....

This place is incredible!! We stayed in Utila for a month and ate here at least once a week (and I got their beignets with powdered sugar and nutella to go at least 3 times a week). The food is delicious and prepared quickly, and the outdoor patio area is a great place to sit and enjoy your meal. They serve a wide variety of breakfast items (definitely get the alcalde breakfast) and also a proper lunch entree or two as well. In addition, they also have an assortment of juices and coffees. A great place to go for breakfast, lunch, a snack after a dive, etc. We love you Josie ♥

This is the place - period. Delicious food, great natural smoothies and good coffee. Vegan breakfast options, super friendly staff and great chill vibe (I like the background music track). Definitely need to stop into Joise's!

Hands down the best fresh food on Utila. Josie has an awesome passion for food and always gets the highest quality ingredients. The fresh juice is incredible.

The vibe is always lovely, it's a great place to hang out. The coffee is so good. This place is a daily must for me on the days it's open.

Highly recommend the Nutella latte, fritter sandwiches and "Grace," ceasar salad.

Always one of my first stops on Utila. The staff are great, the food is freshly prepared, the menu caters to many tastes and the coffee is excellent. The pancakes are the best on the island.

Best coffee we found during our visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and a great selection. Coffee, smoothies, fritters, and breakfast did not disappoint. There was this Honduran white cheese with jalapenos that came with breakfast, I wish I could find it here in the states, my wife couldn't get enough of it. The only downside to Josie's is, they are not open 7 days a week. We will definitely go back there when we return to Utila.
