Tom can tell you something interesting about any object in this small but might interesting museum. Carefully curated to show history, present and future of the island of Utila, which has so much more to it than just diving and beach life. On the corner of main street just across from Carribean supermarkt and the College of Diving. Pay a visit, leave a donation and get to know a little more about the place you're visiting!

Contact Kanahau on Utila for guided tours of the most extensive collection of Utila artifacts.

Located on Mamy Lane, just up from Caribbean Market & BICD corner. In the old Johnny's Water building.

Really interesting exhibition and conversation with Tom, who has some fascinating artefacts from Utila. If you are looking for something to do whilst on the island, I would highly recommend stopping by to visit, Tom will brighten your day and fill you in on all the interesting things that he has found. We particularly liked the Payan whistle-like instrument carved in the shape of a frog and the pirate cutlery

This is a little gem of a place! Tom is passionate about all the artefacts he's collected and I highly recommend both stopping by the museum and also doing a tour with Tom to see bat caves and freshwater caves whilst being guided by an expert! We learnt and enjoyed it so much more than we would have otherwise, thank you Tom.
Both caves are really interesting but the bat caves were incredible.

This is a wonderful little spot to learn about both the nature on the island and the history of the people who have lived on Utila!
