Konoba Gradina

That is one of the best places where we have been dining in Croatia. Food is sooo good. There's a little playground on the restaurants territory. It's better to reserve a table before stopping by.

Really delicious food and great service at Konoba Gradina! The "lamb from pot" (hrv. janjetina u teći) was juicy, tender, and really flavourful (would definitely recommend!!). Also, the truffle pasta actually comes with grated truffles. Don't forget to try the Istrian cake!

Wow, we stopped here for late afternoon lunch, there was pork meat cooking on the spit, roast potatoes ready…. We ordered the grilled spit pork and potatoes…. We needed a taxi to get back to the car in the car park we was so full!!! Wonderful experience - great staff too - highly recommended.

A beautiful konoba with old fashioned service (as it should be), homey atmosphere, and delicious food. They always bring something at the end as a house treat which is lovely. I had pljukanci with shrimp and my boyfriend teletina and both were excellent.

Coming over 15years and it is always the same.Same amazing staff,fresh food,owners that are into it 100%.
My best always to start with few capesante...then pasta is Pljukanci with scampi and kanestrele,and finish with either classic tiramisu or trio Dolce cake.
You must try calamari on grill with homemade salt potato...i meen i could go on and on...trust me when i say it is worth to give it a try.

This restaurant is a MUST when near Vrsar or even Rovinj. The food is exquisite and the service is superb. The staff merits 5 star. The ambience is very nice. Probably one of the best restaurants in the area.

Great place overall. Beautiful meat, steaks are to die for, grilled meat is lovely as well as fish. Been there two time with the family, we haven’t had a dish we could fault for anything. Great service also.

Fantastic experience 😍 delicious grilled meat, potatoes and "cacciatora" sauce. Also the ricotta&ice cream sweet was tasty. In the end, Fritule and grappa was offered. High quality at the right price.

A wonderful afternoon in a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere of this restaurant is magical. Swallow's nests with small birds, idyllic. The restaurant is an autochthonous, typical Istrian building, located almost halfway from the Lim Channel to Vrsar. The great atmosphere is completed by professional staff. Extremely kind, considerate and always at your service. We haven’t met this kind of approach to the guest by the staff in a long time, and that’s why I have to mention it. And now the food, magnificent. They offer typical indigenous Istrian dishes with the addition of Mediterranean cuisine. They are also known for making great game dishes. Since we mostly prefer seafood for an appetizer, we ate Mix Mussels (mušole, dondole, pedoće, kanaštele and kape šante) in a phenomenally delicious sauce. Then we continued with excellent fried squid with the addition of baked potatoes, and baked red scorpionfish in the oven with potatoes and tomatoes. All enriched with an excellent seasonal salad the Greek way. Fantastically delicious. The rest of the team ate a platter of mixed meats (beef steak, grilled pork leg, ombolo and turkey steak), with an outstanding onion and mushroom sauce and of course soft fried potatoes. We rounded off the excellent dishes with delicious cakes and fruit torta. Everything was delicious. All praise to the chef. There is a rich offer of excellent local Istrian wines, but also aromatized brandies, such as biska, medenica, erba luigia (Istrian komovica), teranino ..... The price is reasonable. The overall impression is great and is a magnet for enjoying delicious meals.

Great restaurant. They have delicious food. I tasted Tatar Steak, Roe deer, pasta with truffles and Great Great Great fig cake. Meat is soft and very very delicious. It is my first time that I tasted truffles and I can say only one thing, it is prefect. Also one interestingly, owner of restaurant is one of the waiters.
If you want very good wine, ask for advice waiters. Because, they now which wine is good currently. Istria has excelent wine history.

Was at Konoba Gradina for the last dinner while having the vacation in Croatia. I am sorry I have not found it earlier. Great food, great service. We had a nice evening and enjoyed all the tasty food this restaurant serves.

I had an excellent lunch at konoba Gradina . All staff speak different languages and is really polite and take care of clients . Quality is excellent comparing to standard and price is really honest . I can only recommend to visit this nice place , thank you again we will come back

Nice tavern, very pleasant atmosphere and staff. Excellent food.

Proper fine dining at a normal price. The grilled fish platter for two was amazing. The soups too. And so was the service despite being very busy. The waiters had always the time to make a joke and their positive attitude honestly made us order more. Well done you!

Amazing place, food is super delicious, prices are very competitive, would even say low for such a quality.
The best thing is people that work there, super hospitable, always offer shot or coffee on the house and so warm and welcome, even waive when you are leaving. Visited 3 times during one week stay.
Everyone should visit once in the area.
