Camping Peruča

Came across this place as a camping suggestion while traveling with our mini camper from Dubrovnik to Istria, reading such good reviews here we had obviously high expectations and this place didn’t fail them in the slightest! Absolutely exceptional place<3 The wildness, the peace, the lake itself - simply gorgeous. Dog friendly with clean amenities.We needed an adapter for electricity and the very helpful lady working there borrowed it to us- maybe it would be worth keeping it handy for other forgetful travelers like us😉 Definitely not a place for everyone, if you’re looking for a commercial, touristic spot with Wi-Fi and all the buzz just look for something else but if you’re after a place to charge your batteries , for a mind reset- look no further!We absolutely loved it, please keep it as natural , wild and unspoiled just as it is ,making it a truly special spot.

We wanted to stay there for 5 nights but in the end we stayed 8 😊 Absolutely spectacular campsite. Easygoing and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful nature and breathtaking lake. No dedicated camping spots - you find your place and setup your camp (just make sure that you have enough extension cord to connect yourself to electricity). Self check in (cash only). Paddle boarding, fishing , swimming in the lake is allowed. Owners (extremely friendly, helpful and kind) are usually on the property from Monday till Saturday. There is a small garden maintained by the owners from which you can get the fresh produce like spring onions, herbs, radish, etc (please make sure to make a small donation if you use it! ☺). We highly recommend this campsite and we will definitely come back here again 🏕

Amazing place! We loved it - it is perfect if you like to stay in nature away from all the touristy stuff. The lake is perfect for swimming, the water is clear and perfect temperature. There is a nice little vegetable garden, fridge and clean sanitary facilities.
We ended up staying longer than planned and can definitely recommend.

Magical place.. Middle in the forrest between majestic mountains near the beautiful lake Peruča.. You can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Very quit at night and if there are no clouds you can see the sky full of stars..

Amazing place to spend a night, a week, a month or even a year! So quiet, a lot of birds singing, crickets in the grass playing songs for you. The campsite had such a relaxed feeling. Free choice of place makes it for everybody nice to stay. We are traveling with a car and roof tent, don't need electricity so we've had 2 amazing dags and nights on the side of the water!
Dogs are allowed and there's even a garden to take some vegetables from! Sanitair is nog big but very clean and very well organized!
Definitely a place to come back!

Lovely place, nice and quiet, good location, friendly owner. It's self check in and cash only, no bookings needed. Lots of space and lots of trees for shade. There's also a kitchen for campers use with BBQ, fridge and a gas hob, plus a kitchen garden you can help yourself to (donations welcome), plenty of clean showers and toilets etc. We stayed in the wooden cabin as it was raining when we arrived 🙂

Stayed for 5 nights. It’s camping in just nature. At night you can see all the stars. It has hot showers and everything is lovely and clean. It’s self check in and the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is great cycling and walking in the area. Really enjoyed our stay

A very nice quiet campsite. ideal for people with children who want to avoid the crowds. the operators are super friendly and assist you with advice and assistance. The campsite has only just opened, so the facilities are still very basic. but what is there is fine and working properly. What we did miss is a refrigerator to store things. but as said the campsite is quite new and the owners ask for your input. absolutely recommended.

Lovely quiet site had lots of little touches like vegetable garden, gas bbq's and kitchen with vending machine, fridge, showers may be mixed but i managed fine, toilets all clean... May not be people on reception but a lovely site manager was really helpful... Lovely quiet site to relax on.. under the star's 🌟 ....

Wow, this camping sport is just incredibly beautiful.
The location is very very nice, calmly located close to a lake, with a mountain scenery behind. Every detail is so well thought out and everything is extremely clean. Loved it and will definitely be back!

magnificent place! Completely natural camping with simple sanitary arrangements (perhaps a bit tight with many people) and a wide variety of places, with or without shade, in the woods or with beautiful views. Select your own site.
Pleasant manager who drops in regularly, but payment by envelope, as per the honour system. Idealistic owners, who are, slowly, creating a unique and beautiful place. Highly recommended for people who love nature and silence.

We spent our holiday at Peruca Camping and it was the best decision ever! Camp is really beautiful, clean and very well organized. We were with our 1 year old dog and didn't have any problem. Nature is wonderful as well as swimming in lake, hiking around camp, walking or visting Vrlika and Prozor fortress. It was really fantastic and quiet spot for relaxing.
Mr. Elvis, guy from Camp, was really frendly and helpful. This place deserves 5 stars! We will come back for sure :)

Nice quiet place. No mosquitos even though you're literally on the lake.
As somebody else mentioned already, you won't find a market inside the camping but there are at least a couple some 3 km away.
Showers are hot and, tidy and clean.

We wish we had stayed more days.
Just advantages: lot of space, lot of trees ( shadow), camp site is very clean ( including toilets and showers), access to beautiful water ( where you can swim of course), good start for hulking trips ( Dinara peak), nice staff and owners. Peace and quiet. I recommend for more than one night. There was a self check👍

What a great camping! You are truly in the middle of nature at a lovely lake. There is not much artificial light at night allowing you to see the beauty of the night sky. Toilets and showers are more then ok!

The camp is intended for lovers of first-hand contact with nature. It is equipped with the essentials for comfortable camping. Despite the container design, the toilets are extremely clean. They have a self-service "reception" where you can pay only in cash at the moment. A wonderful idea is a vegetable garden. You pay for the collected vegetables with a voluntary contribution in the piggy bank in front of the entrance to the garden. Under the canopy of trees there is a area with tables and benches, a machine for hot and cold drinks, a refrigerator for shared use, two grills... The campsite is not divided into parcels, but with a sufficiently long extension cable, it is possible to access the poles for connecting electricity, which are otherwise placed on different locations in the camp. At the same time, the camp has two larger parking lots with a gravel surface, which offer lockers with connections for electricity and water. The nearest shop is approx. 3 km from the camp.
The exceptionally clean lake is suitable for swimming and other water sports. The camp has a well-kept beach. There are endless possibilities for cycling and hiking in the surrounding area.

The camp is not suitable for those who like pitches with all the comforts, animation in the camp, swimming pools, slides, live music, shops, restaurants....

For me personally, the camp is pure disconnection in unspoiled nature. Please keep it that way. I will definitely be back.

If you like quiet and basic, this is a really good campsite. Clean amenities and good for star-gazing.

Fantastic location right at the amazingly beautiful Peruca lake! Couldn't think of a better spot for relaxing in peace and quiet :)

The camp just recently opened and is not 100% finished yet. Cold water and toilets were working. Electricity did not because of a temporary issue that they hope to have resolved by next week.

Do yourself a favor and stay here. Since it is so new and unknown you might end up having paradise all for yourself!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The surrounding is peaceful and very beautiful. The owners are very kind people too.
