Great hotel on the coast with good bus connections to city centre. Our room had sea view and was cleaned every day. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again

Great beach ⛱ Small rocks, so you can walk around barefoot. The sunbeds/umbrella quality is much better than most famous beach places in Dubrovnik including the Sunset beach which is not that far from here.

Also the price is great. 190kunas for two sunbeds, one large umbrella and two towels 🏖

Great spot with sunbeds and towels for 95HRK for guests of Valamar. We arrived just after 10am and the first 3 rows were already taken. Showers are freezing and toilets are well cleaned. Highly recommend.

Used the beach facilities as stayed at sister hotel, this allows you 50% off the towel and bed hire. Stone beach but quite fine. Really comfortable sun beds 5hrs passed before we knew it

The private beach is nice only for the gast of the hotel. But you can pay for the the 2 sun beds and 1 umbrella 190 Euro. Towels and toilet shower are all included. Discount price is not for all the valamar hotels, only for hotel Argosy.

Bus station 6 to the pile gate is in front of the lobby entrance.

Beautiful views, gorgeous water. We didn't stay here so I can't speak to the inside but the views were stunning. We met someone from Northern Ireland who was staying here while in Croatia and said it was wonderful. It is only a 10-15 min walk to sunset beech where there are shops and restaurants. You'll also pass some restaurants along you're walk. A swim in the water is amazing! If you want to walk the wall in old town you can take the bus. Purchasing the dubrovnik card (available all over the place including most hotels) get you admission to the wall, a limited number of bus rides, and admission to other area attractions.

We came here from Valamar Argosy, which does not have a beach. Good facilities, 95kuna for two sunbeds, umbrella and towels.

Walked from the hotel Kommodor along the promenade to swim on this beautiful beach. Shower. Snorkeling lovely views.

Lovely staff, not overpriced drinks in the beach bar, lot of water sport activities.

An amazing city full of historical monuments. Also perfect for The Game of Thrones fans who would like to see the real Kings Landing.
