Guesthouse Augusta Insula

We have been coming here for the last couple of years and every time it is great food as well as wine. We took the lobster house specialty and were really delighted that it was delicious, fresh and excellently prepared like all other food. The staff is great. I suggest everyone to visit this extraordinary place.

Predivan apartman,čisto i uredno, blizina svega što trebate,ljubazna gospođa koja nas je primila, uputila i sve pokazala,svakako preporučamo,pozdrav od Gregčeviča!¡!!

...also im Vergleich zum Essen, ist es das absolute Gegenteil - tolles Zimmer, alles Sauber, super Lage und auch hier - sehr freundliches Personal - gerne wieder.

Ultra expensive. Food is tasteful but portions are small. Family environment. Toalets are not clean. Smelly. Wifi claim to have but is not working.

I attempted to directly communicate with this property with the form on their website. The first email was not answered. The second was, saying we just needed to provide the dates and room category. I told him what we wanted. No response. Sent another email the next day. Again, no answer. Two days later, the room got booked because it was no longer available on a third party website. If this exchange was any indication of what an actual stay might look like, I think we were lucky.

A Place with many difficulties and a unfriendly Host no Hospitality

We was there in the pre Season , so we think the augusta insula has a reduced Service , but there was nothing.
By the Manger it was vorbidden to bring our own food to the beach and the lounge by the sea
in the appartement was no cleaning stuff to clean the floor ,we ask if the Staff can come for clean after several Days , they did but with a angry face.

Its not really a place who can i recommend special for the price
never ever..

They canceled our booking on the night of arrival by SMS at 1am.
Just bad form for service industry which should not be rewarded. My apologies to anyone experiencing similar hospitality in Croatia, this is an exception to an otherwise great experience of Lastovo.
