Augusta Insula restaurant

Typical island restaurant, nice ambiance, food is good and the prices are reasonable for a restaurant that is mid-upscale. Dinner for 4 people, croatian wine, tuna and lobster appetizers and lobster pasta as main dish at 360 euros.
If you are coming by a boat, make sure that you get there eariler in the afternoon, despite having a reservation.

Stayed for 2 nights with a sailing boat. Excellent service. Very attentive and friendly staff. Extremely supportive owner. Great showers and jacuzzi. Restaurant overlooks the bay. Not cheap, but worth it.

It doesn't matter if you are here just for some drinks or a fine dinner, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset next to the sea. There's a nice jacuzzi in the bar and poll with sea water.
Service is just perfect, food is made for everyone's taste with daily ingredients.🤩

We came with friends for lunch, they welcomed us very pleasantly, they gave us a salad of lobster as an appetizer, fish tartar, homemade ravioli stuffed with cheese and zucchini, moussaka, everything was absolutely perfect. Although the restaurant was full for dinner we decided to stay another day. They gave us a table with a beautiful view of the bay Zaklopatica. For dinner we decided to try their specialty Lobster Spaghetti, I still have that taste in my mouth, an unforgettable experience. Very good selection of wines. Staff very professional and attentive.

The restaurant Augusta Insula is absolutely amazing, one of the best Mediterranean restaurants that I ever visited. View is breathtaking and the food is superb. We ate fish and it was so fresh and well prepared. Also staff was super friendly. Thanks for a lifetime experience. Would definitely recommend this place.

The food here was great, the view was the best I’ve ever had for a meal. We had the shrimp scampi as a group and it was a hit, I can only imagine how good some of their other food was.

Best restaurant on Lastovo, on a beautiful terrace above the sea. The food was heavenly good . For strarter we ate delicious fresh octopus in salad and best moussaka ever. Highlight of the day was lobster with spaghetti . Love it 🐳

We came with a sailingboat. Augusta Island offers mooring (i think up to 4or5 boats), with electricity and fresh water, as well as toillet and showers.Very nice owner. Has a restaurant-Party of 7, one vegetarian, left full and satisfied. We had delicious octopus in salad-tender and savoury, veggie moussaka-best I had, fresh drom the garden (would kill for receipt), lobster in pasta-just as it should be, grilled stonebass-prepared for heaven, few desserts-sponge cake with olive oil, home made orange jam and lavande mousse & chocolate lava cake. Excellent fresh malvasia. The restaurant itself very pleasant, well maintained, clean, beautiful view. They surprised us with cannon shooting (2):) The staff polite. 3000 kunas well spent for the culinary experience.

The place is beautiful,it is quiet and relaxing just what you need for a vacation.The food is exquisite(you must try the musaka).The rooms are clean and tidy.Also the staff is welcoming and polite and the service is great in the bar and the restaurant.

My favourite place at south Dalmatia. Always looking forward to come back here. Sometimes I come with the boat and sometimes I stay in the apartment.. restaurant’s food is fresh and local. Stuff is welcoming and caring like the owners. Wherever i lay my eyes is heaven and I this is a perfect place for vacation and rest. Jacuzzi in the lounge area is my favourite place to drink a coctail or two while looking at the sea. Sea is crystal clear and kids can enjoy it even there are 3 pools around so fun is guaranteed.

Nice and good decorated place, very tasty food. Fish with potatoes and local vegetables - delicious and finaly great chocholate suffle 😉🥇

The location of this restaurant is simply magical with views of the bay, yachts bobbing in the water and the old stone houses dotting the foreshore . Our meal of grilled lobster and marlin was outstanding, accompanied by a refreshing pinot grigio from Croatia and together with the peaceful atmosphere made this a memorable night. Can highly recommend this experience.

Beautiful location. Service and food is world class! A small changing menu based on the freshest offerings prepared perfectly. Dragon the manager made us feel at home. A spectacular place! Worth a trip to lostovo just for this!

Laid back atmosphere for relaxing moments. They serve good breakfast with fresh ingredients. Front pier is suitable for fishing, entering the sea or just sunbathing..

Best hospitality and food quality... highly recommended... You should listen to the recommendation of the owner Lucas... everything we ate was wonderful...

We’ve been sailing through Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik and decided to visit Lastovo. We came into Augusta Insula and had an absolutely delightful dinner. So much fresh seafood, delicious Croation Moussaka, great wine, and very friendly and warm service. If you have the chance to visit Lastovo, Augusta Insula is not to be missed!

This restaurant was so good we ate there on two consecutive evenings. We were recommended the moussaka and the ravioli to start and then lobster pasta to follow, delicious. The service, food and location are wonderful. Not the cheapest place but well worth the extra.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and even better service. Relaxing enjoyable atmosphere and spectacular seaside view. Highly recommend stopping by if you ever visit Lastovo.
