The hotel has the perfect location providing a maximum privacy and calm that you can get in today's world of massive tourism. Saluga beach is only 10 minutes away by foot and there are not many people there during the day. Even though the hotel looks old, it is very clean and taken care of by the staff. The AC might not work the best in the room, but you get used to it very fast. There are two restaurants, one that serves breakfast and dinner as part of half/full board, and the other one that is à la carte, and that has very kind staff and hight quality food - special compliments go to the staff preparing homemade sweets.
Make sure that you visit the permanent exhibition that is in the building next to the hotel Karmen. This exhibition is about Brioni's very particular history, which is essential for understanding the importance of this place. Finally, staying at the hotel on the island gives a unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful nature and observe animals all along your holidays :)

The AC might be improved as well as transportation from Fasana to the island (last boat comes back at 22h which seems a bit early). Also, souvenir shop needs improvement - it was not possible to buy Paul Kupelwieser's memoirs, which is very strange given his contribution to the archipel. Finally, certainly parts of the island need to be maintained a bit better and with more vigour - animal conditions (especially safari animals), roads, bicycles, etc.

Top location, very near the ferry. Rooms are nice, renovated big beds and has a free wifi and tv, but the bathroom needs renovation. It was a quiet hotel, nice view from the balcony (to the park, even better if you had a sea view). Service was great except one lady in the restaurant which was rude for a second to us about a reserved table for dinner. Other was excellent. Nice breakfast and dinner buffet, excellent fish dishes! Prices are higher for a 3 star hotel and coffee bars, but this is a national park and after COVID all prices exploded.

There is no place in the world like Brioni, for its quiet, beautiful flora and fauna, marveloys sea view. Its a place to chill, there is no hectic activity, no night clubs, its an oasis of tranquility. The rooms are iffy, some date to the 1950ties, but with a view to die for. the service and staff are friendly and professional, eager to help, beyond the call of duty. If you need to get away from the rat race and recharge your batteries, there is no better place than Brioni, which, incidentally, was the hottest spot in Europe to be seen at the turn of the last century.

Older rooms, older hotel, without air conditioning system but we didn't have problem with this. Our visit was in the hotest part of summer and isn't too hot in rooms.

Food was very good, staff friendly and services are very good.

Not sure why this hotel has below a 4 but I loved my stay here. Food was great, service was awesome, and you can’t beat all the amenities the island has to offer.

The Grand hotel of Brijuni where you can feel the history and prestige. Interior is vintage with super high ceilings, spacious rooms, and wide balconies with striking sea views to the sea and mainland. Hotel also has a cafe and restaurant. Best part is staying at the hotel after the day-tourists are gone and there’s nothing but few people and the island. When visiting Brijuni, at least a night stay at Neptune is a must to truly experience Brijuni.

If you’re after authentic vintage style holiday and absolutely intact surrounding nature you will not be disappointed. No modern perks though, like WIFI, loads of plugs , modern style bathrooms etc. but EXTREMELY CLEAN AND NEAT

This is an old style, classy hotel, a bit outdated. The service is great, the loacation on the seafront perfect. The restaurant is good, just as the service.

Spirit of comunism and Tito is still here. Rooms maybe need AC and some improvements at bathroom. Understand that you want to be authentic but need to invest something.

Incredible location :-) if you stop by the restaurant in Hotel Neptun & Istra, ask them for the beef tartar - it’s not on the menu, but they make a perfect one :-)

An older hotel and it shows, but impeccable service, good food, beautiful park and relaxing atmosphere

This is not high end 5 star hotel, but value for the money earns the 5 star.
