Cossetto vina

We read about this Vineyard and Cellar in The Lonely Planet - and we enjoyed a delightful hour there this morning. Our wine maker and presenter was Denise and she was very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the wine and their business. Make sure you ask her about the story of the Wine Lables! Great wine, highly personable tour - fabulous!!

We had a delightful visit to Cossetto vina, where Denise and Grazia provided an intimate, knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoyable tasting of several of their fantastic wines. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience and enjoy Istria’s great wine making tradition in a friendly setting at a small, family run winery that’s producing great wine.

The tour was awesome and Denise was quite warm. We could see the expertise and legacy of wine making passed on to future generation. She took us around and answered all our naive questions with utmost patience. Also we tasted some good wines and were at quite reasonable prices.
I would like to strongly recommend it for wine enthusiasts!!!

A wonderful family vineyard! We stopped by whilst exploring Istria, having tried one of their wines earlier in our holiday. Denise was fantastic, answering our questions about the wine making process and providing us with some wine to try. We left with a bottle of their delicious Muskat Bijeli. Overall, Cossetto has really high quality products at a great price, and is a really friendly place to visit!

We rocked up at Cossetto after an "if you go to one vineyard" internet recommendation while on holiday in Rovinj. We were immediately whisked off into a thorough tour of the family winery by a very friendly Denise, who topped it off with a great wine tasting session for only a nominal fee.

We felt we discovered a real gem here, and took a bunch of wine home with us. To anyone within 100km of this place, it's a must-go.

Cossetto is a lovely family run winery. We enjoyed our visit and thought that the 15 euro pp degustation with a cheese and meat platter was very generous and good value for money.

A nice taste in this family vineyard. We tasted 5 good wines, sold at affordable prices. The whole family is nice, thanks to the girl (elder surely? 😊)to have made us visit and taste in a good english !

The guided tasting with accompanying plate was very delicious and generous in serve. Cheerfully guided by the one of the wine makers.

Family run business.The owner Alfredo is the nicest person!
He sat with us and explained about the wines and the production methods while walking letting us try the different wines they make.
The wines are super tasty! I would 100% recommend.

One of the best wine cellars in the country, their rustica and gentile lines are among my favourites. You have to stop by for a visit !

Kleiner und feiner Familienbetrieb. Die Weine und Olivenöle haben eine Hammerqualität. Die Verkostungen werden immer sehr sehr gut durchgeführt. Hab’s noch nie geschafft hier nicht wackelnd rauszukommen, weil alles so gut ist und man alles kosten muss.

Toller Wein vom in dritter Generation geführter Familie. Die Töchter sind in die Fußstapfen des Vaters und Großvaters getreten. Ich durfte eine spontane Weinprobe erleben. Tolle Tropfen zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Was will das Herz mehr?

Nach vorangegangener Terminabsprache konnten wir eine Weinprobe durchführen. Diese fand in dem Weinkeller statt, was bei warmen Temperaturen sehr angenehm war. Wir erhielten eine istrische Wurst- und Käseplatte. Die Weine sind sehr zu empfehlen. Außerdem kann man hier Olivenöl erwerben.

Wir haben vorab per e-mail einen Termin für eine Weinprobe vereinbart und wurden dann kulinarisch und mit guten Weinen verkostet. Der Service war super und freundlich, das Ambiente war auch toll.

Heerlijke wijnproeverij gehad in een prachtige wijnkelder. Voor €15,- per persoon mochten we 6 heerlijke wijnen proeven en kregen we ook nog een lekker borrelplateau. Aanrader!!
