Konoba Rino

Today my boyfriend and I spent the day exploring the Slovenian villages of Koštabona and Krkavče. We then ventured just a few kilometers into the beautiful Croatian part of Istria. Using maps, we discovered Konoba Rino and decided to drive there to see if they had any available tables, as it was lunchtime.
The staff welcomed us warmly, and we were quickly seated at a table in the garden. We started with an excellent "gemišt." For the meal, we had a mixed platter for the appetizer, followed by homemade gnocchi and pasta. Finally, the desserts were exceptional.
We will definitely return and highly recommend it to all our friends and to you. 🙌🏻😊

Everything is really great. We waited a little bit longer for waiter to come to our table but everything else was perfect. The food we eaeted was really fantastic!!! The best fuzi with wild meat ever. Lamb chomps were also FFXIV fantastic!!!

One of my favorite Konoba in Istria! Great owners and excellent food. On every Istria visit, Konoba is on to do list and so far we never been disappointed. Looking forward for future visits.

We visited Konoba Rino during extremely busy time and the restaurant was full. The staff handles busy time very good and the staff is well organised. There is not a lot to say, food is excellent and the ambient is very nice. Well recommend, reservation is needed.

Great Istrian cuisine with amazing ambiance.

The restaurant is located in a remote place with plenty of natural beauty around it.

The food was amazing and delicious, really nothing to say there. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant even if it might not be close for you.

Really very tasty food in a nice place out of the city.

It's a bit out of the way (don't count on a taxi here) but absolutely delicious and worthwhile. Truffles on pretty much everything you'd want, traditional local dishes, and meat prepared on an open wood fired grill. We'll be dreaming about this for a while!

Simply everything from walking in till paying bill and leaving place, SUPERB!

Food was very good, bigg portions, very tasty. They are doing their own pasta, so the flavor is unique.

We got a very special surprise from the kitchen: toast with homemade pâté, which was superb!

They also have their home made vines that are very delicious!

They have all kinds of stuff for kids to animate them, most of all I was really surprised of didactic toys - it's not common to see that kinde of stuff

This is definitely our new POI till the rest of our lives!

Very good Istrian traditional food for fair prices.
We had different cold starters (boskarin carpacio is a must) then 3 types of warm starters (njoki with boskarin is a must) and then stakes and sausages.
The stakes you can get better at other places in Istra but the entire dinner, ambient, fast service and very reasonable price give this place a 5/5.
Be sure to try their wine (they have their own cellar and wine products - Prelac wines) and the istrian spirits (pelinkovac, grapa, teranino etc).

An amazing place slightly off the beaten track. Solid Istrian food l, served in a very homely environment. A true local konoba.

Stunning surroundings! Their website does not do it justice. The food is very fresh, local and delicious- try to get an outdoor table!

Great restaurant! They have the best truffle pasta and really good steaks. The staff is more than nice and always willing to fulfill any wish one might have. The restaurant also has some rooms although I don't really know what is the situation with them now with all this Covid situation...

Excellent Istrian home made food. Service is very good and atmosphere is home like feeling. Also, prices are very reasonable.

We had the homemade gnocchi with boškarin and the truffle beefsteak. The meat was very tender and the steak was perfectly cooked.
If you've missed a couple of local wineries, you can also try them here, since they have a large asortment of local and Croatian wines.
Make sure to reserve a table beforehand, since the place can get very busy.

Nice and peaceful ambient in the middle of nowhere. This restaurant lies in small village, surrounded with forrest and vineyards.
They don't serve picas and burgers, but their own pasta products and awesome meat. They're also certified restaurant for serving Istrian Boškarin meat if you want to try it. They offer great selection of their own wine too.
Dinner for two, with bottle of wine and desert is not too expensive.

The best place to taste original istrian truffles, good meat, excellent wine and other local specialities. Nice, warm ambience and kind staff.

Incredible food, incredible service. In 15 years we have never tried truffle pasta this good!
