Great and not so expensive place for stay. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I especially loved the great location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help with any advice or recommendations. If you want cozy and budget-friendly lodging with excellent service, Hostel Sveti Rok is the top choice

We stopped here for lunch on our way back home, the food was excellent and the service even more than excellent. In particular, Antonia, the waitress, was very kind and helpful in suggesting us the best dishes to try!
Bonus point: you must try their homemade Strudel, it’s really one of the best I’ve ever had.
If I will pass by during my life, I will definitely come back here for lunch or dinner.

Usually I do not write reviews, but this place definitely earns an exception. If you are searching for a nice, clean an peaceful place to stay, where nice domestic breakfast is served accompanied with nice hospitality, you are at the right place. Thumbs up and keep up the good work!

Great Hostel. Spacious, with large and comfortable lounge. Super nice staff and great food (authentical croatien).

We came here by bike and spontaneously decided to stay, after crossing the Velebit mountains.

We stopped by Sveti Rok on a bikepacking trip though Croatia, attracted by the promise of a relaxed swim at the lake.
We came to the hostel to have a birthday dinner and couldn’t have found a better place. The food was great and the staff absolutely lovely. It looks like they put a lot of care in making the premises welcoming. It is clean, cozy (even romantic in the evening) and the mood is joyful.
Definitely a place to come spend a few days or more.

This place is situated in excellent location for nature lovers. It is also just few kilometers from highway so instead making lunch stop on crowded motorway gas station, this is definitely better option. Also there are forests and lakes and few springs with drinking water close to this place. It would be great if they could install some quick chargers for electric cars.

I passed by to have a coffee and I ended up staying 4 nights!
The owner and shes son are the best. Incredible friendly people willing to help in whatever is needed.
The rooms are super clean and super lovely decoration!
Wifi is perfect, food is very good and I really enjoy to stay in this peaceful place far away from turists and full beaches!

Excellent service with great staff. They have great choice of local food, try "Ličke police" with homemade bacon and sausage. Also you can get lot info about local attractions, bike paths, mountain paths etc. Definitely great spot for explore Lika and Velebit.

This was my first hostel experience and boy i loved it..
The people were so friendly and check in process was simple and quick.. rooms were clean and their canteen had amazing food and authentic croatian coffee
The surroundings are all lush green , a small swing upfront across the road and lot of photo opportunities..

Decided to stay here after a visit to Plitvicka national park and I couldn't be more thankful to have found this hidden gem. The staff was so incredibly welcoming to me travelling alone, and the food was incredible. Unfortunately when i booked through hostelworld they didn't receive my booking, but they welcomed me with open arms anyways! Would definitely stay again, and would highly recommend to anyone passing through. Thank you so much for the incredible hospitality! One of my favourite hostels so far!!

Unique concept accomodations with bar & restaurant. Young friendly staff, decent parking space & a swing by the apple tree across road giving great views to the mountains.
WiFi could be an issue as it doesn't work away from reception incase if you don't have private internet connection.

great staff, good clean rooms and good food. a great place to base as you explore the surrounding nature. Bring your mountain bike and get out there. we will be back.

Very welcoming host. Nice clean rooms with lots of space throughout the building. Very quiet area, you can hear the rainfall. Dinner was plentiful.
