Guest House Ankora

We stayed here for one night planning to explore the Krka NP. When we arrived we were greated with great hospitality, and the host talked us through the entrences and sights in the national park. Unfortunatly, the park was closed due to heavy rain, but the host gave us suggestions of other nice sights.
Very nice and clean room, and available parking. There was also a jaccuzi available for use, and the owner also let us taste some of his homemade rose-spirits, wich was great.
Strongly recommended!

A couple of breaths away from everything in Skradin, Ankora Guest House and its keepers will enchant you in ways even 5star hotels should aspire to. Exquisitely comfortable rooms, surprising amenities and a client-oriented service I have witnessed nowhere else. Highly recommended

Cannot fault. Everything was clean and tidy and the host even gave me a beer when we arrived when I told him we had been on the road for 10 hours. The location is right next to the old town and lake so perfect

This is my third time to Guest House Ankora with Zlatko and his family. Each time I return with someone new to show round! Skradin is the most amazing little town which welcomes me time and time again. It's safe, clean and full of lovely locals who really do look after you. Krka NP is 100% worth a visit however, I will say I was saddened to hear you can no longer swim in the main falls anymore. Luckily I have swam here in previous visits. Zlatko and his family have always welcomed me with open arms and strives to make my visit as memorable as the last. I've been on the fabulous boat tour they offer and it is simply one not to miss. Fresh seafood caught by the man himself, swimming, eating, caves and wine, the trip is exquisite; like one I've never ever been on before. You simply will not find a better place to stay in Skradin. I'll be back again next year, without a doubt it's become a very special place to me. Thanks you Zlatko, for everything.

Ankora is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Skradin. I could not imagine better value for money. I didn't rent a car for my stay in Croatia. It was great that Ankora is a one minute walk from the bus stop. The room itself was large, modern, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There is a sauna and hot tub if you wish to use them. Zlatko speaks excellent English, and is more than helpful with everything. You're a one minute walk from "downtown" Skradin, and restaurants for breakfast, though I would avoid Visovac, which is almost next door. (I only went there once, but that was enough). You're a ten to fifteen minute walk from the entrance to the park if you wish to walk in, or three minutes from the boats that take you up to Skradinski But. I cannot recommend Ankora and Zlatko enough.

There is a scary-looking super-narrow path leading to the pretty parking place of the house (there's also a non-scary parking place outside at the main road), but the area is lovely. The room was nice, and everything is really easy to reach. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Amazing place! Really clean and well appointed rooms. The host is very friendly, had excellent advice about seeing the park, and has a bicycle you can borrow. Plus, hot tub!

Lovely place! Nice, helpful owner. Clean, spacious, stylish, practical apartman. In the quiet part of Skradin, yet so close to bakery, cafes, restaurants and the harbour. Local beach is walking distance.

Beautiful cosy guesthouse in the lovely town of Skradin. The town, apart from the KRKA NP, is really worth the visit. Very kind and friendly owner. Outsourced breakfast however was quite poor.
