Gava Waterman Milna Resort & Cottages

We had a wonderful week relaxing in the beautiful resort. The setting is perfect in a very scenic bay and the rooms are all spread around the resort which offers privacy and peace. The all inclusive meals did get a bit repetitive but that is expected with these deals. The option of a table service a la carte restaurant would be a nice addition.

Our stay at the resort was fantastic. We stayed in the middle of Mah so the weather wasn’t brilliant so we spent more time at the resort than we had originally planned. This turned out to be just great as the entertainment team were fantastic. There were four people on the entertainment team, but particularly Milan and Nina were brilliant. There are lots of activities to do throughout the day such as tennis, table tennis, archery and outdoor chess as well as live music at night, quiz nights, fun games etc which was really good fun. Highly recommend the place. Stunning views, nice and quiet and the food is great too. Staff were all lovely and polite, couldn’t recommend the resort more.

We stayed here with a group of 5 for 2 nights out of season in May. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. Several outdoor pools, a sauna, great animation, beautiful beach - a great way to relax and have fun at the same time. The staff was helpful and friendly. Milan from the animation team helped us with bingo, table tennis and karaoke - thank you so much. The only thing that could be improved was the food. There was plenty of choice and the idea behind the theme dinners (Dalmatian, American etc) was good, but the result was average at best. I would come here again, nice place with a great team, and excellent value for money.

We had a nice couple of days here with beautiful views, very nice newly furnished rooms and facilities and super helpful staff. The atmosphere at the resort was very relaxing, everything was squeaky clean, quiet, but also with lots of things to do without having to leave the resort like minigolf, archery, chess, table tennis and of course the pools and sauna. The food could have been better but I think it was fine for the all-inclusive room rate.

Special thanks to the animator Milan who was always there whenever we wanted any sports or karaoke equipment and really did his best to make our stay as fun as possible! Also to the young female receptionist whose name I unfortunately didn't remember but who quickly called the technical service for us to turn on the sauna on :-)

Room was very clean and spacious, with a really modern bathroom, the reception staff were very helpful and knowledgable, shout out to barbara and Josipa. The bar staff and animation team were also very approachable. Only issue was the food which if you are vegetarian can be a bit repetitive, if you have any needs then I would suggest telling the head chef early so that they can accommodate you. All in two thumbs up!

Very clean, modern resort with nice cottages houses. View over the sea is stunning! Sea playground for kids is a hit, loved our stay at the resort!

We’ve just got back from the best 2 week holiday. We loved the location of the hotel and the luxurious pools. The waterfront and beach area was very beautiful.
Special mention for the incredible animation team. The ladies looked after our children really well, showing love and compassion. They gave our eldest daughter the confidence to sing in front of an audience, something we never thought she would do. We felt they looked after them like they were family members.
We loved the sports animation leader too. Yoga and aqua aerobics was a huge part of our holiday experience. Lovely people who made our really special.

This is a really lovely resort. Spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It's quite a way out of Milna but there is a regular free shuttle bus and the driver is super flexible and friendly. Ignore the comments about the food. It's as good as any all inclusive and the pizza is THE BEST! The layout of the resort is superb. We stayed in a forest lodge and it was fabulous (peaceful and quiet) - it was third week in September. The views are breath taking, the sea crystal clear. The swimming pool was a bit chilly. I would absolutely recommend this fabulous place.

Beautiful place. Excellent facilities. Kind, friendly employees. We a family of five stayed here for a week and couldn’t fault the place. Entertainment was really thought out for all ages. Food. for a all inclusive, don’t think they can do much better. Good selection of alcoholic drinks. Rooms were large and cleaned daily. This is our third time in Croatia and our first at this resort and I can 100% recommend. Our daughter sadly had a accident on the last evening but no fault of this resort. Thank you Gava x

We were a party of 10 arriving on the 28th of July for 10 days. We found the hotel spotless, staff friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Duje, the manager, even reserved a table to accommodate us all for dinner in the evenings. The food was great too with many choices!! Scenery surrounding the hotel was "out of this world". Would love to come back one day.

Visited in 2019. Amazing location on the peaceful island of Brac. Food is nice with plenty of choice and all inclusive soft drinks taste good. The
animation (entertainment) group are friendly and do not hassle you if you want a quiet day. The rooms have large comfortable beds with tiled shower rooms, very posh. The sea in the bay is suitable for swimming as there are no waves, it's more like a lake than the sea. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'd definitely like to visit here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Nice resort, not big and has all the benefits for pleasant vacation.
We stayed at Cottage and fully recommend it. It is in pine forest and has sea view. Food is pretty good, cocktails are generous. I would recommend them to have a doctor on premises

The room was amazing. We had delux upgraded one separate from main building. Food was really good in comparison with other all inclusive expierience. Typical issue with Sun beds, but this is becuase of guests behaviour who have reserved them by throwing towels in the early morning till late evening not using sometimes at all. I would like here to thank girls from "Kids club" who were very nice, took care of my daughter, with many great ideas and energy!

Very pleased with our stay here. Fantastic place but would say ‘max 7 days is enough here. Some dot points:

- Room quality is great. Rooms clean & well maintained
- Food was good enough quality. You can see theyve made an effort to change things up slightly every day, perhaps from previous feedback. Still, you’ll grow tired of it all after a week. There was enough fruit/veg options, but the quality of those needs to be stepped up.
- Cocktails overly sweet yes, but you can tailor them to your taste (ask for no sugar syrup etc). Ended up having mostly beer (crisp & good), g&ts & vodka lime sodas anyway
- Queues for food/drinks werent bad, and went fast. Never felt like we waited too long. And never had an issue getting a seat to eat.
- Good entertainment every night, changing things up. Karaoke, live music, kids mini disco, fire show, aqua aerobics
- Great massages overlooking the ocean, easy free taxi to milna 4 times a day & they can wait for you if you just have to go in to pick something up quickly.
- Not a lot to do in milna but worth doing the seayou 5 islands tour of the blue cave
- Basketball/tennis court/minigolf great, gym functional
- Pool temperatures are perfect. Im usually susceptible to the cold but I couldnt imagine a more perfect temp for a pool
- Never had a problem getting a sunbed. There are hundreds of them in multiple areas, with fantastic views
- Best wifi of any hotel ive ever stayed at. Good connection everywhere.
- note that we travelled last week of june & first week of july, so before peak season kicked off. Was a lot more busy that 2nd week. Imagine wait times/sunbed availability etc would get worse throughout the season, so when you travel might impact your stay.

A bit of constructive feedback:
- maintain signs/labels for food. Half of the time you had no idea what anything was
- Lights/cover needed at minigolf/chess/sports area. This would enable people to use them in the day (way too hot in the full sun) & in the evening.
- Too many bees/wasps around. Perhaps change some of the plants near the sunbed areas? Theres a lot of lavender that attracts loads of them

Initially when we arrived late the first evening the cabin we were taken too did not match what we booked. Next morning the staff were very helpful and put us not only in the suit we expected, but also upgraded us to a bigger suit. Ideal holiday location for families and everything included from find to snacks and drinks. For us it was ideal to come for a few days to complete our holiday and would come back

Had read bad reviews about food and flies before we left. All lies. Brilliant place for a holiday. Good food. Great staff. Wonderful holiday ♥

Absolutely amazing resort. The staff are so friendly and the views are beautiful! We went for our honeymoon and forgot it was the summer holidays so we were a bit worried it would be busy, but the whole week has felt so relaxing and calm. Thank you!

Amazing views, unbelievable beach front!
Very tasty food, Chef Joao is very friendly and receptive! We loved the buffet! Excellent pizza and a lot of different options every day! For the kids you can always find the basics, pasta, meat… it’s a all inclusive hotel, it’s vacations time! So, you can find everything here to relax and don’t need to think about anything! Just enjoy with your family!
My son had his birthday at Gava and chef João with your staff provided a delicious chocolate cake, candles, balloons and a small gift! Amazing!
The spa is very very nice, simple but very good! The girls who make massages are very nice! I really recommend a massage with a beach viewing!
Room excellent, all pools are beautiful and cleaned!
We loved practice SUP and for a hotel with 500 guests was not hard to find a place to get a SUP!
When you see here ratings bellow 5 don’t believe… it’s amazing! You just need to know you are in a big resort and not in a boutique hotel made for couples!

Beautiful place for families as it is all-inclusive : several meals per day, constant offer of activities, pools, beaches. They are also equiped with aqua park, sup and kayak. Disadvantage is that people are not behaving according to written epidemiological measures and staff is not reacting.
