As my husband and I wandered near the waterfront, the tantalizing aroma of wild boar cooking in a sweet wine and rosemary sauce drew us in. Neno, the welcoming owner, shared with us the culinary masterpiece his wife, Slavica, was preparing - wild boar served with homemade gnocchi. Intrigued, we returned for dinner, and it was beyond delightful. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. With dishes like these, it's no wonder there should be lineups. Jurin Podrum is a must-visit for any food enthusiast in Stari Grad.

I had lunch here in August with a friend. The cook was kind enough to modify one of their first courses to be vegetarian. The pepper sauce of the tagliatelle was excellent and tasty! Greek salad fresh and plentiful (maybe a little salty for my taste). The spritzer is good. The waiter was kind and helpful. Both the furnishing of the external environment with plants and decorations and the rural and homely internal environment are very nice. Normal prices for the area. We really enjoyed our stay here!

What an incredible gem of a restaurant.
The home-made pasta (I had prosciutto with truffles - marvellous - my wife had the „Frutti di Mare“ - equally marvellous.

Water Melon (which wasn‘t on the menu, but came from the staff ❤), a dessert wine and Espresso as endong made it a perfect experience.

I'm one of those people who leave either 0* or 5* reviews.Amazing restaurant that I chose based on quick Google reviews photo research.I saw a cattlefish stew. You can have it with polenta or HOME made pasta or beans. Service super attentive, our doggies got water upon arrival friendly through and through. Stew did taste top notch (we cook a lot ourselves)!!!
Do not hesitate and just give this little gem with a great atmosphere a chance! So far the best we've got on the island.

Very very nice place, we came just before the beginning of the season and it was super quiet. The owner is lovely, pasta (homemade) very very good. Prices are super correct vs other places in Hvar. Lovely small street super quiet! Go for it

Very cosy place, actually the oldest restaurant in town, hidden within the little narrow streets of Stari Grad and only a two minutes walk from the port. Very quiet and beautiful, sun shielded place with amazing food and very friendly service. We enjoyed the Dalmatian Cuttlefish Stew, nice truffle pasta and the homemade sweet wine accompanied by traditional cookies for desert. Thank you Neno for your kindness and see you soon! Unbelievably great food with amazing service from a patron who is passionate about the food that it is served.

We shared three dishes. The beautifully presented octopus salad, the wild boar and gnocchi ragu with a simply cooked homemade pesto.

The family ate dour different types of delicious home made pasta and had local Plavac Mali house wine. Just perfect!

Amazing! Nino and his wife serve up the most incredible dishes. The four of us sampled several menu items. ALL WERE GREAT! 100% recommend. If you’re disappointed in anything.. then it’s you’re own fault!

Wow this place is insanely good. We had wild boar gnocchi in a red wine sauce and homemade pasta with truffle and prosciutto. There is so much flavor in the dishes, and the service was also great. Such a gem tucked away in a beautiful corner of the center.

So good, we changed our plans to leave the island and stayed another night to come back. The truffle pasta is amazing and besides that the atmosphere in the small street is amazing.

Everything perfect. We had a small lunch and the food was fresh and delicious and the waitress was really really kind and focused on the Service. Next time dinner!

Probably one of our best meal in Croatia. Big call! The home made pasta was excellent. The truffle pasta was actually better than what we had in Istria, the truffle capital!

We had a delightful experience at Juninho Podium. The veal and beef dishes were excellent, along with good wine, delicious creme Brule, and hospitality that would be hard to beat. Add to that very reasonable prices and we hit the trifecta. All eight of us enjoyed the total experience.

Neno and Slavica are professional chefs for local cuisine. Their restaurant is based on daily fresh ingridients, with no classic menu. Their meals will definitely leave you out of breath. Recommend visiting Bistro Jurin podrum!

This is the place you want to visit. Excellent food with great service; everything being homemade and carefully thought through.

Amazing!

Never had better pasta in my life. The seafood one has a sauce directly cooked in heaven. Kids loved it. Perfect price. Perfect food and to add more, the boss and his wife and the waiter are charming people. Go there if you can !

Family tasty comfort food, terrasse under a fig tree in a typical small street.
Totally worth the waiting or even better the reservation.
