Konoba Pharia

Upon entering this place, I fell in love with the interior and the atmosphere. The menu seemed pretty good, however a bit pricey in some areas, but can still be pretty affordable for most. There was a good fish and meat selection, however it would be better if there were more vegetarian options. The service was good, and the food arrived in good time. If I was ever in Stari Grad again, I would definitely come here again.

When you walk through the doors to Konoba Pharia you feel like you are walking into a fairytale. The courtyard setting is beautiful and the staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. The food is simple Croatian dishes done well with quality ingredients. The menu might be a little underwhelming for some as they lack any vegan options other than a quite wilted salad but this is to be expected in a small town. Fish is fresh but the Ćevapi is a must try. The exceptional service continues right to the end with a complimentary local brandy after the meal. Quite literally a hidden gem and not to be missed

Was here a few nights ago with my group of friends since it rained for two days and this was one of the few places in town where we could just come and eat without reservation needed. The place is decorated in traditional style and the menu is quite big, with a lot of choices of different seafood and meat. I've had grilled octopus which was very nice and some of my friends chips and meat since he ordered a meat plate not knowing how huge the portion is. Would highly recommend the place for its food and the great service.

Recommended booking. We requested sitting in garden which was beautiful. It does have a top terrace too. Service was professional friendly. Food was amazing. Such a lovely romantic location for meal and cost was reasonable.

Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was perfect. I highly recommend the sea bass and the local white wine.

Delicious food and great service. The grilled octopus was perfect and my kids had the best pancakes of the hole island.
The tables in the patio are very cosy, a real croatian experience. I strongly recommend it!

Probably the best dinner I had in Hvar. The shrimp soup is amazing, also the fish plate! We really enjoyed the food, but also the views on the last floor. We entered randomly, but we are glad that we did.

I won't lie; I had fried squid and house red wine and this was the best meal of my/our visit to Stari Grad.

Beautiful romantic place with traditional meals. You will find yourself in a cozy little courtyard surrounded by stone architecture and plants. Delicious food, nice staff.

Wow, incredible traditional food. We opted for the grilled octopus which came with blitva and veg. It was so tasty. Definitely worth venturing from the main square to find this gem. I have recommended this restaurant to friends and family and will definitely visit again.

Great garden, great octopus, kids menu were average. Service very nice. A good time!

Magical place. There are two dining areas: a beautiful shady courtyard with plants, and a half open room at the top under the roof. Great choice of food, well cooked on a traditional chimney grill.
