Beautiful place, impressive collection and really nice staff. Definitely worth to visit.

Beautiful museum with Tintoretto original. Lot of incunabulae including musical. Cloister interior as well as the church is magnificent. There are also one Meštrović original in it. Definitely worth your time

Monastero molto carino con museo annesso circa la storia antica della vecchia città di Hvar.

Il complesso che in alcuni punti sembra simile ad una fortezza, è del 1482. Vi è sepolto il celebre poeta rinascimentale Petar Hektorovic e nella chiesa vi è un dipinto "La sepoltura di Cristo " di Tintoretto, oltre all'altare maggiore del 1786. Nel chiostro si respira un senso di profonda tranquillità, unito ai tipici sapori dei giardini mediterranei. Nel museo attiguo un'ampia raccolta di cimeli greco-romani dell'antica Pharos attuale Starigrad/Cittavecchia. La biblioteca è ricca di incunaboli e testi antichi.
